Does anyone know if this works in Europe? It should have the bands for Vodafone-Italia, but it's not working.

Just bought one from Japan i was hoping to upgrade from my old sony xz1compact.
Pros: wonderful screen and very compact size
Cons: ugly sound, i barely can hear it and i cannot find a way to improve it, the old xz1c sound one million times better.
It gets very hot and drains the battery at an incredible speed.
Overall i prefer to turn back to old xz1c the one problem is the limited memory of just 32gb

Just bought an used one Softbank model. Will let you know in a weeks how it works when it arrives.
It seems it got updates for both Android 10 & 11, which is pretty good in my opinion. Also, repairs for the device just recently closed in March 2023 on Japan through Softbank, which says a lot about the care and service they offer their customers.

I bought this phone from Japan on ebay because I don't like large phones and I'm no fan of IOS. I didn't anticipate having so much trouble finding a US carrier this phone will work with. Mint works, but crappily.
T-Mobile seems to have the most LTE bands in common with this phone (5/12/26/41). I'll be trying them next, fingers crossed.

The first android phone I've been excited for in what must be 10 years! I would have preferred top and bottom bezels without the notches and with a more compressed display aspect ratio (somewhere in-between this and the iphone SE), but the rest of the features of this are sounding great!
I was after a compact phone so I bought an iphone 13 mini last week. I returned it after a day as it just didn't feel right. It was cumbersome to use and didn't come anywhere close to what the older iphones were like to use. Even my dying iphone 7 has features which set it apart from the latest generation (ie 3d touch text scrolling, home button/fingerprint sensor, no awkward gymnastics in single hand use). The latest iphones are way over rated.
I'm looking forward to checking this device out!

120Hz screen and 2,500mAh battery. Efficient is definitely not the right word.
