yangsj, 11 Nov 2025They should bring these smaller phones outside of Japan !They have been doing so since the Aquos R7 or 2023 model. They have been selling outside of Japan to Taiwan, Singapore, and Indonesia. Interestingly, their prices are lower than those in Japan, and the specifications they sell are also the highest variants.

This phone will be available in my country in December along with the R10.
Sense 9, which is currently priced at $250 with a $12 voucher (and was once sold at Plaza for only $210 and a free TWS worth $20), is quite popular because a compact phone with decent specs is only Sense 9 in my country. Sharp is usually expensive at the beginning of the launch, but after 6 months it will drop drastically. I also use Sense 9 (with R9 and R9 Pro), for performance outside of gaming, this phone is quite fast, including multitasking, even better than the Pova Curved 5G. Not all phones are seen only from the specs, but the software also has an effect, especially since Sense uses vanilla Android. for the camera, it is slightly below the Edge 60 Fusion but still above the G86. The minus thing I feel in Sense 9 is that if the sound from the speaker is above 40% the screen will feel quite vibrating and the flash is quite dim.

potato4k, 12 Nov 2025It's basically the Sense 9 with upgraded SoC. Not a ba... moreits barebones but they've significantly improved camera algorithm so it's similar to the r10 in software processing

It's basically the Sense 9 with upgraded SoC. Not a bad upgrade. What I like about the Sense series is its compact form factor and USB3 port. And the battery life is amazing. 3 days easy, longer if you're a light user. My problem with Sharp is its software, which is barebone to a fault. It's so barebone that it doesn't even have a voice recorder, and you cannot even sort its app drawer automatically.

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2025240 Hz with 7s gen 3 is unhinged 😭Sharp has always been a somewhat unhinged company when it comes to smartphones

            Anonymous, 11 Nov 2025240 Hz with 7s gen 3 is unhinged 😭fr though 😭😭

Seems like almost identical specs to Realme 14 Pro+, which I have, but mine is UFS 3.1 and this Sharp is UFS 2.2.

I kind of like it, too bad no 512GB 16GB ram option. Besides this, quite a different and nice phone.

S I R E, 11 Nov 2025Sharp going that Copy paste route with no shame. atleast it's an improvement over the predecessor unlike sony xperia 10 mark vii, like that phone was just a facelift while this is genuinely an improvement, plus it's better too
                          - ltpo 1~120hz (240hz is bfi)
                          - 7s gen 3 (not to be confused with 6g1/7sg2/6g3) which is 4nm tsmc
                          - same camera sensors found on the flagship r9/r10
                          - usb c 3.2 with displayport 1.4
                          - aluminum unibody
                          - 6.1 inch display (rare for sub 500 usd)
this is honestly a better deal than the pixel 9a, so?

Yeah, either lower the price or make it look 2025 - bezels, a bit better SoC and Si/C battery.

oddly thick bezels considering its a 240hz display, but at least they are even :)

The refresh rate and great screen is useless if the phone has chonky bezzels from 2020.36W charging only ? For a 350 Euroes device ? Even Poco F7 has 90W. And still using a 2023 chipset is a meme. Should have been the 7 gen 4, not 7s gen 4 nor 7s gen 3.

Ah, Japan, 5 years behind competition as usual

Tele 4x + wireless charging to this = perfect phone

                                        240Hz in 2025☠️
