      Yes, Language can be switched to English during setup, not an issue. I am using Sharp Aquos sense5G in English language without any issue.

        This is a question to anyone who has used this device. I take it it was released in Japan only, so all units are set in Japanese. Is it possible to switch to English in the language settings?

        I'm thinking of importing this through Ebay, where all of the sellers are located in Japan. But that would be a big mistake if English is not an option.

I don't know much about this tech, but according to Sharp it'll made the 120hz display look even smoother. Had no idea why they marketed it as 240hz.

                  I've made an experiment using my Aquos Zero2 where I recorded the display using slow-mo camera. In "240hz" mode (called high response mode) there's a visible difference compared to basic 120hz mode where you can actually see the black frames.
