youngadek, 29 Jan 2025its not overprices cause the 240hz screen changes the whole... moreit's 120Hz. they use BFI (Black Frame Insertion), so they're using that to say that it's """"""""240Hz"""""""". monitors using the same tech do not resort to misinformation by saying that it's actually a doubling in refresh rate, so I don't see why Sharp gets away with it.
This is very much a rip-off, as are all Sharp phones, at least at MSRP. The only reasons I can think of for the high pricing are that Sharp is a smaller OEM, Japanese phones tend to be more expensive, and it's MIL-STD-810G and IP68 rated, but you can get the latter on much cheaper phones, and there are brands in Japan that price fairly (ish), like Google.

It has good features for the price I bought it for, and is a nice upgrade from my last one. Nice and lightweight and feels fast (since I just got it lol). But I am really disappointed about the headphone jack removal. One more thing to note is that the Aquos R9 Pro also doesn't have a headphone jack. I've already reached out to GSMArena so that they can correct the information.

All in all, it's a good contender. The bezels could be a little less, but the lack of notch (like samsung does it) makes up for the bezels on slightly sizier side.
