Sharp AQUOS V goes official with Snapdragon 835
Sharp just announced a new phone dubbed the AQUOS V. It’s a midranger with an interesting chipset choice as Sharp took it back to 2017 and went with the Snapdragon 835. Elsewhere you get a notch/cutout free display, dual cameras and a decent 3,090 mAh battery.
The AQUOS V comes with a 5.93-inch IPS panel with FHD+ resolution and an 8MP selfie cam. Around the back, we have a dual-camera setup with a 13MP F/2.0 main with OIS and a secondary 13MP sensor. There’s also a trusty fingerprint reader.
The aforementioned Snapdragon 835 is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable via the microSD slot. The 3,090 mAh battery charges over the Type-C connector. On the software front, we have Android 9 Pie. The phone also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and sports a 3.5mm headphone jack in the top right corner.
The AQUOS V will go on sale in Taiwan for TWD 6,990 ($230) later today. There is no word on international availability at his point.

so you want a midranger with a flagship processor? Ridiculous. For a midrange phone S835 is fantastic, runs smooth like butter.
