Well, when I tried to transfer my phonebook from my T610 via BT, it would not work. It couldn't connect to the card...or something like that. Had also trouble using BT to send pics over. Just wondering if this problem was specific to the model or just the phone I had.

What do you mean you have trouble with moving your phone book? Do you mean moving it to the computer? You have to be patient it takes awhile.

If the choice were between the Gx30i and the D500, what would one prefer? I am debating the choice. One thing about the GX30i is the limited (100k) blue tooth data transfer that I am concerned about? Had trouble moving my phone book. Any one have issues like that? Any help would be great.

Try turning the phone off and then turning the phone on again. I had a similar problem and it worked for me. GX30 in Malaysia I think it is branded as GX32 which is the Asian market version. For MP3 files you need to put them in the "sounds" folder of your memory card.

Magic phone! Just bought it, and its totally bonkers! Only got it coz i couldn't quite afford a Moto Razer V3, but this thing is so much better in the real world! Oh yeah, whoever says you get a 560mb SD card is speaking through their ass! As said before: 8mb, 16mb, 32mb, 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mb, 1.0GB; and a new 2.0GB one may be out soon from Panasonic! That will give the MP3 player 500-ish songs won't it? Bitchin!

I have the GX30i and I am in Australia. I think the GX32 is the same with GX30 but GX32 is for the Asian market. I downloaded some MP3 files once and it didn't show I had it in my phone. Then I realised I was doing something wrong, I didn't drag the MP3 files into the sound folders of the GX30i so the files are in the memory card but not in the sounds folder. When I looked at the memory status of the card in the phone the files were filling the "Others" folder. Which means the MP3 player cannot read. So if you put the MP3 files in the "Sounds" folder I'll guarantee you it will play on the MP3 player.

I got the GX32. When I record MP3 directly to the SD card the GX32 won't play it back, it doesn't even show the MP3 file is there? anyone know what I'm doing wrong???

Bluetooth cannot access the memory card and is limited to data transfer of a maximum 100kb. It's a pity coz the phone can accept a memory card of up to 1 Gb. Great camera and great pictures though!

I've got the GX30i which has full bluetooth. It's a great phone and I got a 128Mb SD card in it and I can store more than 30 songs on the MP3 player. The only let downs are the handset memory can only download a max of 100 kb of sound files and picture files and the video player can play a max of 400 kb(up to a minute)video playback. What's the point if you can put a 512 Mb memory card in the phone with those limitations. But the pictures are of great quality! You need a SD card reader/writer to download MP3 songs to your memory card! Great phone though.

There are no 560MB SD card. 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB from Sandisk, never hear of an 560MB card.
