Right, can someone please help me with this bloody video player?! I used to have a Nokia 6600 and hence could use Nokia's Multimedia Converter to convert to .3gp files. The files I convert now will not work in my GX30i. I have tried to find a program that will convert avi and mpegs to .mp4, but to no avail! Please drop me a mail if you have a clue of whereabouts to get software like this (that I don't have to pay for cos I'm cheap!!!) Cheers ta.

Can the gx30i with the improved bluetooth and infrared transfer files to other brand phones? My girlfriend has a k500i, therefore I really need that function

quit griping about battery life! None of them are "as advertised" They are tested at a room temperature and in the best of condition. If you live in a hot or cold country, battery life will dramatically be reduced. Why don't you buy a huge Nokia phone and lug that around!

wasting your time transferring via b/tooth its only 399kb limit plus your battery disintegrates even faster.its poor go for the d500 if you dont mind it been 80mb of fixed memory.its price is coming down.i have the gx30i but wished id got d500 thats all i can feasably say

The 30K or 100K data tranfer switch is how much data you can send via MMS (Multi Media Service). If you keep it at 100K, then if you send a picture message you can send a better resolution picture. It all depends on your carrier if they support up to 100K data transfer via MMS. Some carrier only can support 30K of data at one time so check with your present carrier to see what data transfer rate you can use.

Can anyone tell me about the "100Kb data transfer limit"? I mean what can and can't you transfer with that. Although the new gx30i have full bluetooth, but if it has the same 100Kb data transfer limit, does that mean it can only transfer pictures?

This Phone makes a Brilliant Camera, But I am dissapointed about the rest of the Features. I Hope the New Sharp Model will inprove on its Features.

Well, I just sold my k700i. Wanted GX30 in the first place but bought the k700i before the gx30 had a discount. Anyways, I'm still interested. Is the GX30i with the new bluetooth version much better?
P.S Nothing wrong with k700i, but gx30 looks better. Although I was pissed with the difficulty of k700i software(data transfer, couldn't get it to work). Would gx30 be the same or better. Your help is greatly appreciated.
