I got only 2 complains aboyt my Sharp GX30 that is : The blutoth does not work to sedn pictures/sounds to other GX 30 or other phones.. should be there the most phones have it... and when someone calls u can't answer by just opening the phone i have to open the phone and then press yes to answer thats bit weak... Take care

I broke my sharp gx30 within 2 hours of buying it HOORAY must be a record

ok well i give up on trying to get links to work...haha...and no i dont have any singnal problems just be careful while taking the old antenna out and putting the new one in.
And no the GX30 does NOT come with a USB cable but neither does the N 6230 but it does come with headphones to listen to music but there only mono.
Yes vides can be transfered from gx30 to pc and yes they have to be below 400kb for the GX30 to accept them.

I am decideing whether to buy the GX30 and have a question.Can videos be transfered from a PC to the GX30 and if so how is the quality and does it have to be less than 400KB in length or can you transfer about 20MB etc if you have a large SD Card.Thanks for the help.

Which is better the Nokia 6230 or GX30. Does the GX30 come with a USB cable or do i have to buy it seperately.Does it also come with headphones for the MP3 player.

Yes but the movie has to be in 3gp format and under 400kb

Unknown: the default handset code is 0000 unless you changed it that will be it.
Mike: I didnt know there was a difference either....haha. And i have a 256mb sd card also and it is more than enough room. And the GX30 only accepts MMC cards upto 128mb and sd card upto 512mb. (it says so in the manual)
And here are some pictures of my shorter antenna, im not sure where you can buy it online. The man in the store gave it to me for free.

Wish I could help you with the .png picture frame, but haven't experimented yet.
Art, you can buy a SD memory card from most electronic retail store like Amazon.com, that's where I bought mine. A 256MB SD Sandisk cost about $80. 256MB gives you plenty of space even for my V801! I've seen antenna (very short) for sales for the GX so i'm sure it will come off. I don't plan to take mines off so I don't know if it's screwed on. Nico might be able to tell you about the antenna.

I normaly buy two or three phones per year, but after I got this one I do not think I will buy another one in the next two years. Would any one tell me where to buy the SD/MMC memory card for this phone? And also, would any one tell me if the antenna can be removed? Thank you!

Your welcome, for me it works fine but i have a GX30 i dont know if that has anything to do with it.
Anyway does anyone know how to create frames for when you take pictures. It says they have to be in png format which i did but still no succsess.

Nico, I got the 8 in 1 Sandisk card reader and am able to download the pix from the V801SH, but not from the GX32. I don't know why it won't work??? I tried a new SD card, formatted and took a pix and tried it but it will not read the SD card from the GX32. Strange, the only thing I can do to transfer the SD contents from the GX32 is to transfer from SD to handset memory first and then download it to the PC. At least I can get both pix to download to the PC now. Thanks for your help. Aloha!

Kerry, there is no sms message counter on the handset. You can store over 500 text per in and out box with no problem.

I was wondering if anybody caould tell me if this phone has an SMS counter. Or how i can track how many text messages i have sent.
