This is a smart fone. The problem i have found with this fone, is with having the high res camera, video capture and mp3 player is that the battery power does not last as long as other fones. Sayin that i wud not swop it for ne other fone. All in all this is a great fone. To get true tones do i need to ring my network provider as i have tried to get 1, but it tells me fone not set up. Does ne 1 know how?

The GX30 is quite simply the best all rounder. It has high res screen which is big enough to read. High quality camera, and it works. What else can you say?!

Russo, did you set-up Voice Mail Settings? Go to "messages" and then to "voice mail" and then to "voice mail settings" and put your local voice mail phone number into either "home mailbox" or "roam mailbox"?

To anyone that has anything negative to say about the Sharp GX30: Nothing beats Sharp they are the best around. If anyone has something that beats the awesome GX30 (in specifcation not personal opinion) Then and only then you can say this phone is crap. (if everyne keeps to this rule we wont have any negative opnions for some time to come!)

Nokia really really lost it... Their design is ugly and cannot compare to any other Japan made phones. Hope Nokia will improve on it's design someday and make something that doesn't look like that came out of space!!!! I'll never buy a Nokia, even if someone gives it to me free!!!

Homer, considering for a cell phone the video recorder on the GX32 is good. The resolution is a little jerky but useable. In "fine" mode it record for 1 minute and 31 seconds and in "normal" mode it records for 1 minute and 16 seconds each with 400KB of memory with contrast and zoom adjustment on both mode. Hope the informaiton helps.
