Got this 4 days ago in memo express megamall for only 4, 990 pesos only (sale price)
Done in system / software upgrade - now running with JB.
So many cool features most especially the "PIP" effect in youtube.
Very cool and affordable phone! It also has a free Jelly case!
Battery is good if you are in to calling and texting but if you are in yo mobile data expect
Lesx than 7 hours of usage.
The only problem that I have in line with work is that text message automatic conversion to MMS..... when reach allowable characters. Anybody has idea on how to prevent this on converting aside from not exceeding the limit of characters? TIA

I am reAlly disappoinment with the SHARP SH530U ,just buy 1month have send to center for repair ,but they told me no problem ,call caming in also "hang",call out also "hang" Screen black want to hang up cannot,want to off also cannot,JUST ONE WORLD " REGRET "

Anonymous, 22 May 2013 what to do once the device hangup and can not swich onThe device hangs very frequently.
Once it hangs, the screen turns black and you can't do nothing, not even push the power and volume button together for 15 seconds.
Leave it for a few hours and try it again, it may reboot the system.

Owned for 1 week now. Have had no problems with operating system yet like others have.You get what you pay for.Be carefull at sellers listings. Some say it has a removable battery and some say it has a extended memory card slot. It does not on either At 138 bucks on a auction site it was a no brainer. I am semi-happy with it and will remain semi-happy as long as it does not crash. Bottom line.. Not much money then phone is ok. If you can afford better then you should do so.

If press on buttom back -- still same " SHARP " Logo only

but now only until shown " SHARP " wording , phone cannot move further step , so how to do??

If the device has no response to you or the system hangs, please press power button and volume down （-） key same time together for 15 seconds. The system will power off by itself. Then, you can power on it again. Only pressing power button is for screen on and off (sleep mode) does not help the system hangs and no screen problem.
