Hi everybody,
another model from siemens in clam-shell design. This time it doesn't seem to be as elegant as the CF62, but the features have increased a bit. What bothered about the CF62 was the relatively small, nokia-type screen. STN screens aren't the best, even with their 65k colors. TFT or Sharps CGS would make this phone screen brighter and finer. The features are OK. Finally Siemens has integrated a camera into their Flip models. What was a great design idea for the CF62 now seems kind of repetetive and old: The antenna. An internal antenna would suit this model much better.
Another big let-down from Siemens is the dual-band. Nowadays tri-bands are more and more important, and if this model should ever reach the North American shores, it needs a third or possibly fourth band. At the moment European Phone developers are still behind the Asian market, but we hopefully can expect a quicker "evolution" in Siemens products soon.
