For those who already have an M75, please be so kind as to inform us how durable the M75 is. I want to hear it from those who have tested the M75 their opinions regarding the durability of this phone. Can the M75 withstand seawater splashes and sand? What was the worst thing that happened to your M75? Thank you.

M75 is great phone. rugged and water resistance, but do remember to cover the hole behind the phone. Battery life is good unless you play game... bomberman is great game and it drain the battery rather fast. Same I am wondering if there is a battery with larger capacity than the one provided. One more thing I have no idea on how to read chinese on this phone...
Again I like to say, this is a great phone.

I know that this phone is extraordinary!!! I really want to buy it because i think that siemens makes the greatest outdoor mobile phones in the world. I own a siemens ME 45 (also outdoor phone) for 2 years and 7 months. I throued it on the asphalt for so many times that I can't even remember, I put it under water just for fun and I had no problems with it, so the new siemens M75 should do even better. And it's cheaper than nokia and other phones with the same specifications.
My questions are: can i put a bigger than 32 MB MMC? are there powerful bateries available(1000 mAh or higher)? The 32 MMC is included in the price(in Romania)? The USB cable is available in Romania too?
                Thanks

I just want to know how durable this phone is against shocks, especially against water splashes and sand. I spend most of the time in the beach so I really wanna get a phone that's sturdy enough to withstand sea-water splashes and sand.

Could anyone let me know how's the battery power last after charge? I am a light user i.e 5 minutes of talk time, 10sms, no games and 5 minutes of mp3 a day? My current M65 could last me about 2.5days between charge... How about its successor, M75? Still considering whether to get m75 as my m65 still serves me fine except i could not set mp3 as ringtones (which I really like to do)... Thanks.

To Sadakat: update your M75 and most of the bugs will be over, not onle that but a lot of things will be improved like camera quality and so on..

Does anyone knows if the software (or the phone) that comes with the box support Macintosh platform? If not, how does one transfer mp3s from the computer to the phone? Thanks.

This is a one good phone, there is all that a modern phone must have. To SIEMENS I have one recommend only: to improve dysplay resolution of SIEMENS phones and, may be, the battery capacity. Bad display contrast and resolution is reffered especially for high SIEMENS models

Great phone. I got it from some salesman who specializes in selling European model phones. I actually use it in US.

                                    pros:
Great reception (more bars where normal people either have no service or few bars.
"Different" look. Rugged. Has everything a modern phone should have. A lot of configurable options.

                                    cons:
Little bulky. Comes with plugs for splash resistance, but they are so small that i almost lost one of them: if you lose one of them particularly on the bottom, then all the sand and dust will get inside the phone and the memory card won't most likely come out. Too many options, like every little detail about how your phone should operate can be configured. Alarm clock/calendar won't alert you if your phone is off. No clear indication that you have missed calls, no alert whatsoever if somebody left you a voice message. Loud bleep in your ear when you connect while dialing a number. When you have call waiting, again the signal is not loud enough.
