i bought this from ebay in 2003ish. Great phone because you could access the memory pretty easy

I had this phone too, I can also confirm like you that it had no touch screen, I guess the other poster is mistaken. I even broke the plastic screen cover and it cracked. Look at the photos there is a massive gap between the plastic screen lense and ...

It never had a touchscreen, its a siemens phone from 2004, besides touchscreen phones came out in 2007.
