I got mine 2 weeks ago. Here are the goods and bads:
Good:
-Slider works perfectly, slide as many times as you want, it'll be smooth as new.
-Small and easy to handle.
-You can press numbers with only one hand with no difficulties.
-Camera and flashes are good quality ( when you take a picture, the picture shown in the phone is not as good as when you send it to your computer, don't worry, it's really good and sharp pictures )
-Camera is well positioned, it's in the body, it won't be scratches even if you put it on the table.
-Loud and clear sounds ( when you are talking and ringtones )
-Everything responds quick, no lags in menu.
-Unit converter, I really like this program, it's not only for $, it's also for weight, height and etc.
Bads:
-I've notice something really not normal, it's the sound. When someone calls you and whenever a sound comes out of the phone, it is ascending. What I mean is it's going not loud to loud. When I slide the phone one time, I can hear a little sound that comes out from it, but after sliding it a couple of times, it's getting louder and louder...
-The body needs to be replaced... it's in plastic. The buttons on top of "call" and "end" makes noises when you click on it.
-Battery doesn't hold more than 2 hourse of talk and not more than 24 hours of standby.
-There's only one entry for charger and headset... so you can't do both at same time... For example, when you're in the car, you want to charge it at the same time you talk with your headset.
Honestly, I rate this product - Design 9/10, Features 8.5/10, Performance 8/10. The huge feature missing in this phone is wifi, but I'm definitly sure that Siemens will come with updated filmware that can fix performance problems. Hope this help!

How good is the reception with this phone in the USA? Past experience with an SL55, i had almost 0 reception in the suburbs, but excellent reception in major cities. I would hate to buy this phone to relive that agony.

Hi,I bought an SL75 a few days ago based on the very positive comments on this site. And to be honest,I'm rather disapointed so far. Sure, the design is exquisite and the built before. But the WAP browser is extremely quality is like nothing I've ever seen unstable and the internet menu is not user-friendly. But most of all, both the 262K display and the 1.3 MP camera quality is just poor, it really is... And I am not even going to mention the battery life. In short, this mobile simply cannot live up to it's expectations in my opinion. Siemens could have had a topline product but this one lacks general quality, plain and simple

to whom it may concer.. ;)) you can put mp3 as ringtone only if you save them as .wav ! the sound is the same, but this is the format needed. sim goes out extremly difficult, and sometimes it is needed to put the sim into other phone...when you turn off the phone it takes ages to be completely off... and i still cannot take off the logo...!!! other aspects - not so important - one can not set the time for the background illumination to go off...or other such minor stuff.i will write here other things i find interesting for users that i discover.
