1st XP3 20 showed all symptoms above - replacement works just fine - if your phone don't work right when you receive it, send it back for replacement immediately! - faults seem common from comments from retailer, but it IS a really excellent phone once you get one that's right!

Hopeless,USB port faulty, memory card wont read, can't download photos, address/contacts cant be edited when phone is not connected, can't adjust ring time so keep missing calls, stupid torch keeps coming on so flat batteries all the time. Just hopeless, all the rugged functions don't make up for the fact that it lets me down regularly, I hate it, never agian.

Poor bluetooth connectivity and poor reception. Phone contstantly turns itself off. If your looking for something that has long battery life, dust proof, water proof and bullet proof, this is it. If you want to use it as a phone, get something else. Hopefully the 3.2 will be an improvement.

I want a quadband with same battery life as with the Quest and same toughness(or even better)... Ditch everything else, id est those which are NOT NECESSARY..

Just a quadband basic phone with IP67 or better rating plus same or even better battery life as with the XP3.2 Quest will be perfect for me.. Everything else will just be a welcome bonus but it would make it more expensive.. Sonim definitely has to make a more low profile phone while maintaining everything else especially toughness and long battery life.. This is a great idea for the XP2 phone which is missing from the XP series.. I hope you're listening Sonim...

Does it last for a week with moderate use? I have a Philips Xenium phone so I'm used to reliable battery life and I'd love to have a toughie such as this.. Please reply.. And have you used a Qwest?

I purchased this phone based on its toughness, durability and great warranty. Over a period of 7 months I have replaced 10 handsets, and although a 'no questions asked' replacement guarantee was initially welcomed, the novelty soon wore out and became a nightmare. The problems experienced across multiple phones were (i) a non-functioning microphone, (ii) bad feedback in the ear piece for both myself and callers, (iii) the screen going blank with the phone never to turn back on, and (iv) charging failure. This phone has caused me more trouble than it's worth but thankfully I have been able to rescind the service contract and move on. The best thing about this product is it makes a great paper weight!

got xp3 quest yellow usa model and black landrover s1 this week. landrover only in black at moment,wanted orange colour one 6 weeks,quest yellow usa 2 days deliverd. sonim we like yer phones whats going on with your distribution / yellow and orange sell better, endurro still best no complicated bells and whistles. on orange luckily so usa model works in uk vodafone no. push to talk 0125377890 landrover phone and the best place to buy is expansys-01618680868 good outfit got in 2 days. xp3 endurro excellent quest and landie ok good battery. how about a new upgrade battery for the endurro sonim. orange and yellow please mr plesshte. sonim rep seems to talk rubbish what do you think veiwers. keep on trucking /want to see an ice road truckers version quad band' ultimate test of yer phone sonim season 3 soon sonim contact bryan adams he did the photographie and get hugh the polarbear roland to endorse your great product. and the logging boys on the discovery and history channels. jock camble in spain english mobile mechanics. ideas / sonim rock new nokia giving you new competion. not

Advert app... moreI heard a funny story from head office about south africa and sonim, aparently a whole container was of the phones was being shipped in for the first sales and the whole thing got stolen! and since then they havent sent any more cause they lost so much money.

ditched the samsung,xp3 qwest,and landrover s1 ordered. only gripe not quad band. yellow and orange cool i like they alot.ice road trukers take note season 3 / 850 gsm avalible. mr sonim i like your gsm devices alot more bright colours please,a lorry driver in the uk. sonim rocks
