Sony brings RAW support for Xperia 1 II in Photo Pro mode
Sony introduced the Xperia 1 II as its ultimate camera smartphone and it has a Photo Pro mode that gives an abundance of features to be tweaked. One thing it was missing was RAW support, but now it is coming alongside the July security update in firmware update version 58.0.A.3.88.

The package is just about 75 MB and brings improvements to the front camera during video calls as well. However, there still isn’t any sort of Night Mode, despite many manufacturers with cheaper lower-tier smartphones introducing the technology.
The RAW option is currently available only in Photo Pro mode. The files are stored in DNG format and is saved automatically to the internal storage - there’s no option to switch to microSD, presumably to make sure that the write speed is sufficiently high.

Got the update. Selected SD card for storage in PhotoPro (SDXC kingston canvas plus so speed shouldn't be a problem in theory). When I select JPEG to take photos in, they save to the SD card. When I select RAW+Jpeg (so both are recorded), it sav...

So you skipped all physics classes, if your phone doesn't heat up while playing games then now the its performance is compromised as much as it remains cooler.

No it's not heating up beyond normal temperatures it is within operating temperature range with no performance throttling.
