Fylypo, 18 Jun 2019@ the university in 2001 I used one & it was superb. Wa... moreI have seven of these. Best phone ever. The scroll wheel was amazing to navigate. It could record small samples as ringtones. Very advanced for its time. And so small, and a flip phone, and Sony, and just GREAT!
Only neg is that anyone sending you a message over 160 characters would give the error message 'DATA' on the CMD-Z7. Of course friends on their more modern phones would regularly send me messages just saying 'DATA' as a joke. When whatsapp-etc became too common I sadly had to conform to a modern smartphone...but this will always have a soft spot in my heart...

These phones were never really popular. It was after this phone that the Sony Ericsson joint venture happened, and made the phones really popular.
