can anyone tell me how to turn off the predictive writing on this phone?it's kind of annoying..is it possible to turn it off?

I have this one. This phone equipped with Windows mobile 6.5 Pro! and Support for java application is very good and stable.
I think Winmo 6.5 Pro is far better than Winmo 6.1 standard.
I have both winmo version. Both are smart. Windows like can feels what action you want to do next! It is windows smartest OS ever seen!
The advantages winmo 6.5 pro over winmo 6.1 standard is
1. More application dan more smart
2. You can view, edit dan create microsoft office such as excel, winword, noteone and powerpoint! this really important for me
3. Today screen have up to 5 screen that you can change it by sweep the touchscreen to the left or right like android screen.
4. You can handwriting using styles on note application
5. On screen keyboard also available so you can do action ctrl-C (copy) or ctrl-V (paste) which is not support by the hardware keypad.
6. and many more that I can write in here... it is like desktop windows.
I recommeded this phone!

both mobile battery backup not good
but Android mobile application viewer is very good (you-tube, Facebook, internet browser (opera,uc), other third party application)
but windows mobile not good

1] not good battery backup
2] not good internet browsing
3] Alarm switch off mode not working
4] Not good Camera (sense)
5] not good massage save and Inbox
6] not Creating MP3 Plylist
7] not good application viewer
because already 10-Oct.-2010 I bought ASPEN M1i(Black) then after 1 month starting problem eight time repelling in service center. betwin time 2 time Mother-board change 1 time exchange shame model but not solves my problem continue hang and ato switch off, to still problem now pending in service center Mumbai (INDIA)
This is better u buy android mobile phone
