i m a user of SE Aspen, from around 8 months, its quite ok phone comparatively SE other phones and features.
Pros:
1) Good Look
2) Touch UI
3) Customizable desktop with SPB shell.
4) Windows Office advantage.
5) Xperia panels.
6) Sony sound clarity.
7) Qurty keyboard.
Cons:
1) Crap window OS with nothing new invoative.
2) Less games, as its is windows its very few.
3) Less RAM, may hang some times if you have many apps running.
4) Always have to end task from task manager.
5) Small screen and small font.
6) Miss SONY JAVA OS which is good speed performer.
7) Low quality camera without auto focus, and slow in response. miss Sony cameras quality.
8) Crappy windows explorer difficult to move or copy files.

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2011That's very true I tried it but the battery will not last e... moreI personally do not favour spb mobile shell as titanium when tweaked correctly is very good. try cNotification and cComm with help of cHome. Mobile shell also use too much memory.
However it is surprising u got such short battery life. make sure u use task manager to kill skype or internet based software when not in use. those software drain battery quite fast.

RiyeX maharabam, 20 Jul 2011aspen m1i is good progam ............image and camera is no... moreyea. good phone apart from camera, especially video. juz to share, i recently found out that aspen actually snap the picture right after the click and it took a long time to process and not right before the freeze end. so usually shaky photo are due to hand vibration during click. one way to remedy this is to press the key and hold, only to release on snap. i found this after my vacation! damn! some good sceneries were blurred because i dunno! btw no way to make the video good. horrible video. unless one is shooting phone static.

AnonD-14048, 20 Jul 2011hye i came from malaysia too, can u tell me about the batte... morehi i'm from malaysia too. battery is rather good for me. during bored days at work where i wifi whole day, i still get 2 days. if i was idling during sch time, i could get up to 7 days.
btw juz an advice, if u gonna get the AP set, make sure it has panels such as facebook or skype. becasue if u got china AP, those panels are not installed and impossible to find. and u'll get bunch of unicomm chinese software which is useless as replacement of software banned from china. and no, u CANT get new panels any more with the get more panels button.
HOWEVER, this is a seriously good phone! tons of free apps scattering in the internet. juz need the time and patient to find it. and yes, it is very customizable, though it would be better is some programming skill is there... which sadly i dun have

phone is good. however it gets blanked out very often. phone is working and suddenly goes off for a day or two.
All this is within first year of purchase.

you should atleast try to minimize the brightness... and always turn off the wifi or bluetooth when not in use... it really drains the battery fast...
