It has been a week with Aspen and while using it I have been thinking what has Aspen done wrong to be put away in dark zone where nobody knows it. Its made of plastic but has a much solid feel than Nokia E72 or BB 9700 (metal frame and design) as I have used both these handsets and back cover shake giving them very uneasy feel. Aspen has touch screen which enables you to point and touch on any link or shortcut to open it. Whereas our other 2 heros make you slog with your finger to reach the aim. Battery life on Aspen is superb. Signal is excellent and in areas of low network zone Aspen excels like a pro. Except for camera other other hardware is outstanding as I explained in my last review. I like Aspen and since I have used many brands and models which includes Symbian, Windows mobile, android and Java and many types like Qwerty, Qwerty + Touch, Touch and basic keypad java phones, I sincerely feel Aspen is a very very good handset. just got a new one and am delighted by the thing.
a question... can't i use GPS enabled apps like google maps, Gokivo etc. without an internet connection?
this thing has a gps receiver and how can i use the apps without internet?

Nice Overall, If will windows 7 update! This is very nice Mobile! At this time Very Nice mobile any other windows mobile! Very Very Very Nice Mobile!

You are right.Aspen is very fast and smooth . Very user friendly. Anybody nags about its abilities means he does not know how to operate it.Because the price is very low , we find some basic phones users have bought it and got confused,comparing it with the sets they used to deal with.

Experience the power of Aspen...the best windows phone I have ever used. Robust feel, good sound, excellent screen, convenient keyboard, nice features, tremendous battery life, better telephony, good connectivity but a below average camera. Set camera aside and compare it to any windows Qwerty mobile, Nokia E72 or E5...I dont have any doubts Aspen will win with flying colours...I cant believe what I saw. Videos on 65K screen on Aspen were razor sharp, more vivid and saturated in colours Vs 256K on E5 and 16 million colors on E72. This handset has performed above my expectations. I have used so many windows Qwerty handsets from HP, Samsung and HTC but Aspen has something which makes it more able, personal, powerful and convenient device to carry along.If you have any respect for windows mobile than Aspen will not let you down. But if you are a iphone, BB or Symbian fan than Aspen should be left out as your heart will not let you settle for it. Aspen if a great device and it deserves all the respect. Have a nice day...

First the battery drained so quickly.Lasts one day only .Now after many chargings it lasts two days with a good average of use . I have not practiced any kind of heat or lag . .Yesterday midnight the battery was 3%. Uptill now after some calls ( 12 hours) it is still 2% . You've got to let let the battery drain to 1% to start chrging it.This will prolong your battery's life.
Regarding the 2.4 inch screen . Sony Ericsson never said it is a 3 inch screen . Anybody want to buy this set must know its features.
Full QWERTY+touch screen+WMOS 6.5.3 is a very good compination.
This phone gives more than the money you pay.
