i would advice someone to afford aspen and let go e72 bcls in buz and proper docm aspect nothing can be in comparism, aspen is fast can edit any docm from your computer system. it is less in sun light view, bcls it has a reflected screen which makes it mor better than e73 in the normal world. but in any other aspect other than this, plsss ask a physician not an oralco bcls they will let you fail properly. got aspen and little on e72 if you want your os symbian.

Guys. The Aspen is a really good phone. WM 6.5.3 and working really well. Cool features adopted by Sony Ericsson to show off windows themes. Thouroughly customizable home screens. Battery lasted with my first charge for something like 40 hours. Mix-usage included having wifi and bluetooth and playing around with the phone settings for a good chunk of the time.

Haven't tested out the radio/media player options but I'm guessing it should be up to the mark.

As for comparisons. I'm not going to make any as I have no idea how the Nokia functions. To be honest, have bever been much of a fan of Nokia or symbians for that better. Was seriously considering a BB but was a lot more comfortable with Win mobile having been a winmobile user for some time now.

            Cheers

Albert, 13 Aug 2010OK. It sounds like you are right, but read some reviews ab... moreAspen even kills your E72 in terms of RAM, OS and the features I listed at the end. As far as reading in the sun is concerned what things people may read under sunlight just the name of calling party, i dont think anyone uses it for document reading or editing.

That's right! You have to turn brightness to 100% outdoors (default=50%). Nokia uses transflective screens which are much better, Sony & Samsung don't. At least not for their WM phones.

Alamgir, 13 Aug 2010Dear friend, Aspen an entry biz phone and e71 serious biz p... moreOK. It sounds like you are right, but read some reviews about Aspen and Nokia. I did not buy E71. And I never been Nokia’s fan. Now I have E 72 ( it is my second Nokia phone only). I had Samsung I780 and it’s screen as well as Aspen’s one is very poor on outside, you cannot read on it something. I waited for Aspen for a long time but bought E72 for the same price as Aspen now. I did not said that Aspen is bad phone, I just bought what is suits me.

Shops in Dubai returned the stock because of the problems all the customers were having. Returned mine the same day. Kept freezing and is too slow. I was not expecting this from Sony ericsson. A low quality phone.

I was going to buy the Aspen today and asked the phone company to show me how to do the handwriting input. They could not figure it out even though the website states English handwriting input. Has anyone been able to get that to work? How does one activate that? I am waiting to buy until I know. Thanks
