Anonymous, 18 May 2010japanese only phone meaning it's features can only be use i... moreYou are definitely right, when saying that South Korean, Taiwanese Chinese will rise from now. Cheaper labour with gained knowledge is a very strong competitive advantage, just like the Japanese rose.
However, I think you should keep in mind (if you know anything about the Japanese market) that the Japanese market is extremely expensive to supply to, as the market sets the standard and not the manufacturers. Examples of these are, TV tuner, Barcode reader, Mobile FeliCa payment system to begin with. These manufacturers first have to meet the demand of their locals before going international. And again, due to suck severe competition, many are going bankrupt or merging with others.
