At 5MP I can zoom (Optical Zoom). The speakers are loud and I think they sound great. They're not perfect, but for a cellphone I think they're pretty damn good.
The build quality has been holding up great. Been almost three weeks and it still feels new. No key cracking or anything like that. The backplate that covers the battery (the back of the phone) can get scratched. But still, its a great phone.

Anonymous, 29 Jul 2009how is cam QUALITY?????/Don't hesitate to get the C901, cause the cam quality is just awesome. I did breakaway from those smartphones that i own before and chose this low-profile C901. And told myself, this is just what I need.

Xander, 28 Jul 2009wanna ask something, do this phone have zoom at 5mpix? 'cos... moreYup, it can zoom even at 5mp. I really do recommend the C901. Slim, compact, basic phone with such great camera. Even sound from speaker is surprisingly loud. The next best thing since my K800i.

By now, a phone that pushes the camera as its main selling point should have optical zoom. Samsung will do it first, then SE will just follow. I used to be a HUGE SE fan, but i woke up and smelled the coffee. They just dont have "it" anymore. The soul is gone, SE suck!

I should have bought this one. I didn't wait and went for c510 instead. Now i'm facing plenty of problems with that phone. Poor build quality and materials used. Can't blame Sony Ericsson. They rely on margins not volume. But somehow the build quality of their phones is deteriorating and overpriced. I hope this is not the case with c901 or is it?
