Wow! A phone that is environment friendly! Cool!
I got a chance to have a closer look on this phone. The Sony Ericsson C901 is simple yet has elegant looks.
Pictures taken from this phone are excellent thanks to the Xenon flash.
It has 3G but it doesn't have a secondary camera for video calling but that's ok. Its not a bother anyway.

Are there any color aside from white? Its too girly. I checked the price of this phone in www.ebuystore.com.ph and its P15,100, and yet no wifi. With that money id rather buy a black nokia n82.

If you compare the Green Heart and the C901 via GSMArena, you'll notice the difference in internal memory and according to reviews/news, the Green Heart has a "special" headset than the C901. - my previous post

...sony ericsson phones are really getting better each day. Though prices are bit painful to my pocket, it's still worthit! go Sony!!!
This C901GH really has great features but simple yet ergonomic design. Have to start saving my allowance from now on.

I'll trade my W810 for this one..
Candy bar, very good camera, thin, and a bigger screen than the C902, that's perfect for me.
However there is still no trace of it, here in europe... :(

I love this phone. I love everything ECO. I'm sure it's a good phone (hope that it will be a review sometime). The price will probabily be some 300 euros (hope that they won't give it too expensiv; 400 euros i think that it will a little too expensive). I like the way it looks, that very nice 5 Mpx camera (and it's a Cyber-Shot), it's GreenHeart (great), i love it; it's just what i would like for my birthday. Thanks GSMArena for this wonderful website!

I got to hold a C901 in a one on one visit at trinoma today (SE store,but too bad no Service center there,going to repair my friend's c902) I loved the thickness (less half as thick as my k800i).The front design is so appealing,but the keypad bed seems dead flat,but it was ok,At the back I was so dissapointed (Really as if the whole world was crying to me) due to the look at the back looks really cheap,it doesn't really look like a digicam at all (My k800i looks like one at the back) but was happy to see the cover is a stainless steel.I didn't check out the software due to no real alive testing dummy (All i got was a worthless design dummy).The xenon flash though is thinner and much smaller than the k800i,but I think it'll be fine,well the lens seems to be using a smaller CMOS but I think it'll prove great. Stay tuned for my personal review with this phone.
Current price is 18,200k in the Sony ericsson shop at Trinoma.

What abt d browser? Is it a gud one net front? My k530's net front is useless i normaly use opera mini. C901's net front has pointer or not..?
I thnk yari has latest net front. Ry8..?
Hw is d data transfer speed over a bluetooth?
Wat abt zoom level at 5mp mode?

I hav nw short listed yari nd c901 gh as gud cells.
My 6300 has very poor battery back up. So i afraid tht 6700 mi8 hav d same problem. Nd i wanna fon wid many applications run at a time. So i selected sony fons. I really dnt like s60 nokia fons.
Bt i m scared wid sm serious problem tht SE fons possess by default.
1. SE fons are very slow as a modem. They still stick to fast port nd not USB 2.0. So data transfer speed is much slower than nokia fons.
2. Its bluetooth is also very slow. My k530i gives a max transfer speed of 76 kbps while my 6300 gives a max transfer speed of 214 kbps wen i connect them wid my lappie although both has got d same version (i.e. Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR).
3. Poor after sales services of SE fons here in india compared to nokia.
4. Why dnt SE use class A data modems? (i.e. Class 10 edge instead of class 32 whch is normally used by mkt leaders.
In camera nd music player they absolutely well ahead of nokia nd other fons.

Well the class 10 and class 32 means the speed data....
Well no 6700 doesn't have any multi tasking capabilities (The minimizing the running application thing),c510 only has a 3.2 megapixel sensor but it has almost the same as the c901 but the lack of xenon and smaller megapixel count.The yari it has a bigger screen but lacks imaging power due to the camera flash in exchange you have shake control (where you can change your song with just a shake),the green heart is also a good phone having a cpable point and shoot digicam plus the features like face detection and smile shutter will make a good mobile phone to any shutter bug, and lastly the 6700 classic it's also equipped with a 5 megapix sensor but videos is the best one (only for those three other phones SE only records at QVGA at 30 fps but this records at VGA at 15 fps).
I admire your taste for these mobile phones but if I were you c901 will be my best choice due to it's imaging capabilities,but if you love music then Yari might be a better choice for you,if you love looks thank 6700c is the better alternative, but if you want affordability then C510 maybe just the one thing you need. ^o^

I m planning 2 buy a gud cell next month replacing my nokia 6300. I m fully satisfied wid 6300 bt want to hav a change.
I hav shortlisted some gud models like c901 gh, yari, c510, nd nokia 6700c.
I used many SE cells till nw. Bt i dont find long lasting factor in SE fons like nokia.
Main things thts imp 4 me are gud browsing speed on computer using edge not 3g., gud music player, slim design, gud in-built browser. Camera is secondary.
Wat's d diff btwn class 10 nd class 32 edge?
Unfortunately, we can't minimize any applications in 6300. Is it a same case in 6700? Both are made over s40 platform. Thts a gud benefit of SE fons thts we can minimize every applications still running in back ground.
Plz help.
