As to video recording, most of these top-notch cameraphones offer excellent video recording capabilities except Sony Ericsson C905. Sony Ericsson have long stalled on video recording on their camera-centric mobiles and that has taken a lot of criticism. There seems to be no progress in that department even with the C905, so we guess we'll have to wait until next year (hopefully!!) to get some decent video squeezed out of those Cyber-shots.

i have seen c905 where on his right side says 8 megapixel, and an c905 where on his right side says 8.1 megapixel !
which is the difference, and which of this "two" phones is in sell ??

I can't wait to recieve this phone. I miss SE. I love my N82 for it's camera quality but that's it. I miss having and using an SE. With the camera quality of the C905 and It's phone quality, I will be a happy camper. Nokia is boring.

hahahaha...its a 8mgp phone but its video looks like 2mgp.nokia 6233 a poor phone can do better job then this one in video performance (VGA15fps).C905 drown the fam of 8mgp.its a worse phone among the other 8mgp phones like as innov,pixon,reinor.

Hello guys,
I tell you my experience from the 4 piece of this phone that I had.
the main problem of this phone is when u go to some places with no network coverage, it will take 2 hours to comeback to normal coverage.
the second problem is the speaker, around 50% of this phone returned to the dealer because of this issue.
the third problem is the sliding. the slide is too loose and if u use it more than 1 month you should throw the phone away.

to make it clear 2 everyone...there's no front cam on this phone...can only use the main cam 4 video call...if u think this is stupid...ask se why bcos if u ask urself it doesn't make any sense why se leave the front cam out...(by the way the small dot on top of the screen is the light sensor...get it!!!)

I got this phone this morning like i said earlier and i am still yet to find a camera on the front of the phone i have tried several video calls and the only camera on the phone seems to be the one on the back

I purchased this phone on the 16 of Dec 2008. The size is just fine for me and I do not regret having to use the main camera at the back for video call either as I do not use the function as much. The quality of the music is superb on par or better than any of the Samsungs or Nokias or even iPhone in this case. The photos qualities are beyond my initial thoughts as well. This is where the strength goes.
On the minus side, the keypad is tricky to use and not that responsive as that on Nokias and texting is slow compared to Nokia as well. The sliding design itself causes the keypad to scratch and the upper part is now loosing its tightness a bit (normal wear and tear)
Overall, the durability is astonishing and the looks is as sharp as a blade, it kills. This is my 2nd phone this year as my Samsung Omnia has retired for a burnt motherboard(rom)and numerous hardware failures.
The C905 standby time is pretty impressive too with mine lasting for 4 days with a daily usage of at least 7 mins x 5 calls, 6 photos capturing, 1 hour of music listening, 5 mins photo viewing, 5 mins x 3 video playing, and 15 mins of surfing and e-mail checking, plus 8 mins GPS connection.
So my suggestion is if you have the money go for it depending on your taste that's it....
