Hi all just been reading some of the reviews on here and you no reading y do ppl bother writing stuff at all… I have the fone with vodafone on a 12mnth and for the past 3years have had se…. things I don’t like about the phone and the features are some of the shortcut keys you CAN NOT CHANGE feel disappointed with this also the gprs or shall I say the find and go sat nav on it realy poor don’t like it… when sending txt’s to more then one persons if the number is NOT stored on the phone you carnt send you have to save all contact’s to the phone and not the sim very disappointing for those ppl who store number to the sim and not the phone… also vodafone have a problem with the wifi dosnt connect or stay’s connected? Alo the demo games that come with se you still carnt delete them very annoying apart from these few little things the fone is very nice.:~)

And I think I was right about the slider thing (upon initial sightings I gave a negative comment about the c905 being a slider).
We kinda share the same idea, I guess.

How heavy is this handset? It looks quite weighty? Yeah i know the specs details the weight in gramms but do you think that this phone could do damage? Especially if thrown at high velocity at a soft target/head?

hmmm. I've just visited the samsung innov8 preview, took some samples and compared to c905 photos. I could not decide which one's better, but samsung photos has more blue in it (se has more whites.)
Why don't we just wait for the shoot-out, just like before?

Saad, 30 Oct 2008Why does it cost $800 in the middle east when its price is ... morejust wait for sometime and price will come down or go to some smaller shops instead of axiom and u will get good price,when axiom was selling nokia n96 for 3655 dirhams it was selling for 2500 dirhams in smaller shops in Sharjah.

wow!impressive review from gsmarena! it looks like PICTURE QUALITY of C905 will REALLY DOMINATE the 8mp camera phones! with a little disappoint from their 5mp lineup, i think Sony Ericsson managed to reassess their image processing software. nice work SE!
i owned a k850 and was a bit dismayed by the cam. changed to Nokia N82 but looking at the pics from C905 makes me want to return to SE again! im gonna wait for this in the Philippines. :)

Beside the superb imaging, one of the best undocumented function is the Exchange ActiveSync, I'm surprised that it is part of the firmware without additional download unlike Nokia Mail For Exchange.

Definitly getting this, it will be for my birthday though, which is the beging of Febuary. So I hope it is avalible on Virgin in England. I like the look of this phone and I LOVE my k850, even though people keep slating it. It takes beautiful pictures, we have a professional photo camera at home, and the diffrence is minimal.
The only thing I wish is Sony Erricson hadn't made it a slide up, and used a candy-bar; I have had so many slide phones and I definitly prefer the Candy-bars like I have now. I also think this will make it less solid and rugged and more delicate, which I hate about phones.
I can see peoples point saying digital cameras are cheeper and better and in some ways I agree, but what is the point when there is only a small diffrence in image quality and your just carrying another device with you. I think that for the k850 it was brilliant value, because it was better than my digital camera. I think its a good idea to have a good camera in your phone.
Also people saying why is it $800. So that is rouhly, £450. Think about it. Music on SEs is amazing, so £100 MP3, good Sat Nav £150, Camera £150 and phone £30. AND LOADS of other features, so your kind've missing the point.
In short I will buy it, but I can understand why some of you wont.

dani..symbian doesnt have a problem with virus's, all the applications need to be digitally signed. that was only a problem on previous symbian devices.
and anyway i actually have nice things to say about this phone. the photo shots look really amazing which is a right turn around for sony ericsson considering the k850 and the c902 were a joke. shame about the video recording though. even HTC now have phones which record at higher resolutions and they run winmo!
