I saw on Expansys that the phone costs around 600 euro including tax. Quite expensive, but T-Mobile hopefully is going to bring it out with a nice contract in the Netherlands :)
This phone can't be compared to a N95, which is a slow multimedia "computer" with a good video cam.
The C905 is a way faster phone but the lack of OS has it's downsides. Too bad it doesn't support Flash Lite for example. The biggest advantages: camera quality, standbytime, easy menu and the same connector port as always (for my 2 year old sound dock) are my reasons to buy it though :)
One more plus above the N95: accelerometer implemented in a lot of screens I guess (not only in those games like even the W580i had)

iphone... shitty 2.0 Mp Cam. Video recording mmm (skip) video calling (skip). 3g iphone got loads of problems. HYPE any1
Anyways coming back to C905 I don't mind holding an 8.1 Megapixel Cam.Phone cause old/new phones like N95/N96 doesn't have except 5.0 megapixel (What a Shame) but how cares SE Rules Anyways.
Nokia fan boys sorry but u have to wait till next year to get mmm 7.2 megapixel ?? LOOOOL

SE has a better battery life than N95. As with most SE high end phones.

lee, 31 Aug 2008dont know where u got that info from but it is wrong... One... morethats right & not just the price also the the battery life....sony use 262K to give long battery life with light weight to the phone......many peolpe dont like carrying heavy devices......

this will be an awsome phone, but i want to know if u'll need internet to use the aGPS function cuz i'm not planing to pay for internet. but still i like the design one of the main things before buying the phone and i hope the price will be not more then €400 but we'll see :D

1) Is the sliding mechanism string-assisted ? You know, like you press lightly and the thing pops-up......?
2) Is it still intendeed for the maginfying glass users, meaning, are the fonts large enough ?
3) Keypad: Are the keys comfortable enough to text easily ?

unbeleivable & stupid
battery of 930 mAh ONLY !!!!!
THIS IS 8 MEGAPIXELS PHONE & 930 mAh battery
wont even last for 2 n half hours
the worst thing in these phones is the battery, such high end camera & technology but battery is so damn low powered
should be all over 1500 mAh now
