i wish Sony would develope a good gaming platform like the Ngage but more close to the PSP for some of the better ericsson phones. They are obviously already using the same menu as Playstation 3 in the new phones, so i think it's about time to compete with Symbian now.

Sony usues Java and has the same features i mean what C905 have that N95 hasnt?
their both the same....
I Prefer Apple Mac to Windows
And i prefer Java to Symbian

With an operating system u get more hardware support n so on rather than being on a JAVA based phone (sony) with not many features. OS is cruicial. Its like Vista it supports more memory, more devices, more featrues. therefore it require processor.
BTW u do know the difference between S40/S60 lol? there is huge diffierence between the both S40 is a Stripped version of the actual S60 Symbian OS which is more like sony (JAVA) based phone but then again nokia do give u faster processor than what sony give lol. S60 is the ultimate OS (High End).
ha ha windows mobile get ready for virus infection. there are so many bil gates hater out there lol hackers making virus for them n stuff. do get ready to be infected. Symbian 9.x is virus free so far.

... moreconcluding winmob is better than symbian is totally opinionated. whilst winmob is more customisable, it lacks performance. symbian lacks the apps winmob has but it runs quickly and is more user friendly.
id be happy with either tbh, just my phone has symbian running.

Hahaha.. to all of those who kept arguing about Nokia and SE processors/speed and stuff. I must say that you must be either so bored or dumb!!
I worked for Nokia for 5 years and just resigned from SonyEricsson 1 year ago. DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE OR READ! Just don't! You can and will never be that certain enough on how fast or how many single/dual core processor these manufacturers put in their products! NOT ALL OF THESE SPECIFICATIONS ARE TRUE! Although most of them are.
That's why in most specs data, they put "specs may vary in other countries" or "specs are subject to changes without prior notice"... familiar with that?
So, basically, if YOU are looking for a really fast phone and blazing applications, take a microphone, headphones/speakers with you together with your own "SUPER FAST" dream PC or Mac in a backpack everywhere you go! (Or maybe a laptop) to use them to call and make phone calls. hahaha.
I don't mean to offend, it's just all these things are getting into another level now... where people just argue and say really stupid things for nothing. NONSENSE!

SE uses Java becuase its easier to use and handle and yes its Fast and Reliable...
now they use Windows Mobile in X1 which is better then Symbian..
Nokia's S40 is soo limited for the Symbian and i dont like Symbian..
so my forward is SE Phones!!!!!!!!!!

look P1i, W960i, K850i for exmaple slow definetly. With N82 i can operate through my phone faster than P1i, W960i, K850i put together. Sony phones crap.
Nokia offer Dual Core CPU and Seperate 3D GPU Chip. Nokia offer Gameratag for N-Gage just like XBOX 360 gamerag n N-gage also has Acheivements that u unlock like XBOX360 games. Nokia have taken the lead. Sony have fallen so behind coz there dumb. Il tell u why there dumb they release walkamns phones n all of them are same apart from Shake Control thats it. If Sony had GPU, Stereo Speakers, N-Gage like service they would have beaten Nokia anytime.

Nokia give cutomers fast for a reason. Sony they offer less the speed. take P1i for example its a symbian phone n they give it a slow CPU speed? why? useless if u think about it coz P1i slow. u turn P1i on it takes nearly 1 minute to boot up turn the n82 on it will boot up within 20 seconds. While p1i takes that long to boot up that juices ur battery more were as n82 within 20seconds doesnt even consume that much battery power compared to p1i. same with W960i lol same CPU speed.

SE Phones even though have a 208MHZ processor, THEY STILL RUN FAST AND SMOOTHLY i mean BULLET FAST!

- Loads of Images/Albums
- So many applications eg Divx Player, Nokia Maps, MSN Messenger, N-Gage with Full Games such as Bounce, Space Impact, Sims2 Pets, Opera Mini, Coreplayer, Blacklist Caller n so on.
No slow down on my phone at all. Dual Core gives u smoother multitasking performance. plus it has more memory so i can open so many programs at the same eg i can open more than 15 programs at the same time n switch between them. On Sony Ericsson non symbian u cant even do that even on Sony Symbian Devices you cant even open more than 15 Programs without it crashing.

il give you an example the N70 which was such a slow phone becuase it had a crap processor compared to latest N73 or N82!

i can live with the video quality and also the screen quality but the only thing i getting more and more dissapointed with is why oh why cant s/e produce this phone with at least a 2.8 inch screen doesnt need to be touchscreen but come on s/e your screens are way way 2 small

and yeah most SE's run faster cos they arent smartphones, but the P series are slow just as the w960 is. at least the Nseries are the fastest 'smartphones' about.

I think SE lost their market share for their recent boring repeated models. SE don't bother to hears consumers. Samsung just do that, so they include Document and PDF viewer, file and content lock, SMS & Call blacklist and smart search in their mid to low end model. Samsung models are now really user friendly and fully loaded.

i am SE supporter but i respect all other manufactureres, competitions made this industry to grow to this alarming extend so lets keep the positive faith in all the manufacterers.
i still beleive that K800 and K810 can do great job and have good optics rather purchasing any more advance SE phone .
As i have more than SE phones i dont see any advantages of lets say K850 over K810 . , so lets wait couple of years till all these manufacureres come to better solutions than today

ha ha u make me laugh u dont even knw nufing abot CPU speed look at Sony P1i, C905 etc CPU speed in details nokia's CPU are faster n btw some nseries devices have Dual Core CPU. go do some research for example n82 has Dual CPU.
