the first generation n95 was awfull! slow, froz alot, battery life was gross!, the n95-3 and 8 gig much better but still has the problem going between apps time to time. n95-3 has some issues taking picturs, special with the focusing and waitign for the picture to turn out takes a bit, but the 8 gig much better. i think c905 will be a much better higher advanced phone

850 for the phone is not a bad price since the n95 was over a 1000! when it first came out with little less then what the sony has to offer so u can imagin it will be a high priced phone.. if it is all what the specs decribe it to be it will be a great phone.. but time will tell till u actually use it and compair!

it's odd that ppl come on the sony page and talk about nokia? why is that exactily.. all the phones are plastic, cheap or not at the end of the day sony has their problems and same with nokia, luck of the draw! sony is known for broken/cracked keypad and shaking of the slider, nokia is known for cracking speakers reason they are to loud! and shaking of the slider, sony c905 is obvious from the specs a much better phone then the n95 i have an n95 and it's a great phone. no one knows how good the c905 will be till it's out and when it comes out then u'll have something to argue about or not..

Yes you are right Allan - popular for being faulty, plasticky and buggy. N95 is also popular in sales return.
And talking about the "annoying click" you are complaining about - your arguements are childish. Id rather prefer an annoying legit sound on c905 than the annoying clicking sound of the faulty sliding mechanism of N95.

Unbranded Sim-Free Phones are always better then networks which tweak the firmware which makes them buggy! (Phone dependant)

what a load of rubbish. people complain about nokias alot because so many own them. also there are so many more features to go wrong.
another reason why nokia get a bad name software-wise is because networks brand the phones on very early software and so the phones are really buggy!
and hardware? wtf? its fine.

N95 has a bad reputation in terms of software and hardware issues. These reputations do not only exists because a couple of people had problems with it, obviously A LOT of them complained about it not just a few.
So you cannot really justify just by saying that all your friends and family has it and it didnt broke.... Also it sounds like your already assuming that itll break at some point... Well, it will happen soon. promise ya
