Specs look good. I understand SE deliberately chose smaller screen size to save battery life. The keypad looks lot better than that of Nokia N95 8 GB which I own. Personally I believe, all HSDPA mobiles should come with touch screen.

Camera on Nokia phone is better.... !especially in indoor shot, Nokia give clearer and smooth picture not like Sony Ericsson with picture full of dotted color like red, yellow, blue.. and more...very dissappointed...

that sony ericsson seems a good mobile phone in my opinion. Now how does it cost? Because it would be quite expensive when they will release it.

Honestly, i think the problem with Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot camera phone is the lack of contrast. I have my nokia N95 and my classmate had his SE K850i. And we, ourselves compared the picture in my phone and in his phone. And we noticed ALMOST every images taken by that SE K850i it's seems like lifeless, lacking of contrast. And that made Nokia a winner for it. Even if my Nokia N95 8GB doesn't have a Xenon flash that the SE is boasting that time.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2008I'd say the önly worthy that can be called a "smartphone" i... moreconfused? u mean to say hard to use??
no way, i remember i was 12 yrs. old that time and I have my first ever nokia symbian phone, the nokia 6600. The first time I have it on my hands. I found it very easy to use. I explore the features and discover all the capabilities of that phone without reading the manual, but just using my "common sense"
For me Nokia is the best and user friendly phone.
                        Everything is is highly organize.

that's why nokia opted to have carl zeiss optic ön their phone cause they know they couldn't make it on their own. LOL! Desp'rate move on part of nokia. LOL!

                            @ Dani

"Camera Race" u make me laugh.
The nokia N82 beats all sony ericsson Cybershot phone which are on the market. it just shows nokia needed to make one Imaging phone wid Xenon Flash not like SE with about 50 different Xenon Flash based phone with boring JAVA. what would u want a average cybershot (C905) 8.1MP or a 5MP (N82) dat has better camera quality and da best capture for Night Mode?

Remember 8.1, 12MP people get hyped up about it but end of day u need camera with good image capturing capabilitys.

OH btw C905 still runs on boring JAVA lol. i thought sony would have learned there lesson by now and make a symbian based C905 which would have gave it more better.

also the hardware used on C905 is same like old SE phone (2 years ago hardware). time to move on SE....

Nokia is Nowere in this 'Camera Race'

K850i, C902 obviously have better picture quality then most Nokia's

SE do use THE BEST Sensors and Lenses they always have done.

if megapixel doesn't count, then why the hell do digital cameras has their own race with megapixel count. Nokia fans are so hypocrite with their opinion. You're just so envious with this phone.

Really I love Sony Ericsson because they put Xenon Flash in some of their Phones. Without xenon you can not make pictures in the night.
So buy phones with Xenon flash! (I have K800i)

                                        Ok, everybody, now PAY ATTENTION!!!!

The Megapixels count doesn´t make the good quality on pictures. The more megapixels you have the bigger picture you'll have without having to stretch out the pic. So, you will only see this when are about to print out you pictures. On your pc monitor you won't notice the difference between a 3mpx vs 8mpx.

And for your info what makes good pictures is the Optics, Lens & Image Sensor.

Why do you think that Nokia uses Carl Zeiss Optics with Tessar Lens???? Because those are 1 of the best optics in the world for cameras. (Not the Best but 1 of the best)

If you really know about photography you will know what I'm talking about. That's why I don't get excited about 8Mpx if SE will use crappy sensors, lens and optics. (like K850, C902)

Let´s wait until this comes out and let's see a few reviews done the the webpages that we trust and then judge.

Not a Nokia fan boy but if this cellphone uses the same optics as K850, C902 it's gonna be the same crap as those 2 mentioned before. And N95 & N82 will still have a better picture quality than this.

                                        Thanks!

I'll be waiting for your replies!!!
