I expected a touchscreen handset, even lg viewty with a touchscreen is much better & lighter than this handset. The SE UI is a copy of older SE K800i/850i, the 8mp feature, gps features r good. The slide phone with numbers just increases the handset weight, could have been easily replaced by a touchscreen UI software. The Youtube video gives a better idea...

Display is a good size and the phone looks nice. Great to see WLAN. I would have liked to have seen Infrared as well but never mind.
QVGA video recording is only adequate for low end phones in 2008. Especially if the camera is 8mp- what is the reason SE cannot do better?
I also hope the battery is good enough...

lol i don't get ppl.. you guys are asking too much.. wanna beter camera, wanna beter video, beter this beter that.. man you want everything to be on your phone??? lol come on, i mean take it easy what? you want your phone to start your car, pick the groceries..tell you how fat your are etc..? its a PHONE! with nice features to go along.. simple.

it has good features but design sucks it is like buying a camera that can make phone calls and send mesages.

Despite having a lot of functionality other Nokia phones (N82 in particular) have and even surpass (8megapixel), the QVGA camera is a sort of joke. This phone will probably kick the xperia's (_!_) but with QVGA, it's a no-go.

Video recording is QVGA ahahahhaahhaha no way, i don't believe it! Impossible in 2008-09 no VGA 30fps with a 8MP! I was thinking of buying this phone but now i change my mind!

2'4 display size is ideal, not to big, not to small. Just perfect.

I am SE fan.. At the 1st I thougt i will go 4 this phone but The video resolution really disapointed me.. Only qvga? Nokia got vga in most of their phone! I never buy this phone! I has see the sample picture taken with this phone...
The quality is s**k.. K800i much better.. I will go 4 w960i..
