Sony has done it!My brand back ontop of things again...I told a friend dat Sony Ericsson wud of mash up da market dis year.He doubted me!8mp cam iz wow.I hope they do not make a cyber shot dat cannot compare with there cyber shot digital camera.The c905 shud compete wit any digital camera on d market.It's#1in da cell phone arena now&later2cum!Sum set backs2me iz da size¬ having optical zoom.Other dan that features are great!Hope da video recording iz dvd quality.Price shud b reasonable 2!

Vipu........the phone is not out for 6 months or so, it ha just been announced, so there will be limited information, take it with a pinch of salt, i have both k850i and n95,i like both SE And nokia, but this looks like a contender for the n95, a bit late from SE, but the camera looks promising. i look forward to seeing nokia's reply to this one!!

and she uses Java. Java 8.3 (my guess)...

Hi all.
It is a pity that quite a number are just writing because of access to internet - GSM Arena. Many are looking at the 8MP of this phone without looking deep into the specification.
How can you compare Nokia N96 with this SE C905? Review the two specification for the two phone and repost your opinion again.
Check the OS, HSCSD, Office application and host of others.
Having 8MP doesn't mean is better than Nokia N96. If you want to be a photographer, go and buy a good digital camera for your photographing.
The SE C905 is a good phone but should not be compare to Nokia N96 which is going to be the King of all phones.
Sorry to say this. How many people are actually buying these phones?.

the display - just qvga(be serious se),just 2,4 ,not to say the resolution of the video?-maybe qvga or cif and the framerate? what is it? and this is the best cameraphone?must be jocking.and no cable in the box?

Video resolution anyone? We have seen rumors of VGA (640x480 DVD quality) but this is not obvious from the SE website. Also, why doesn't anyone put a tripod mount on a cameraphone? Re Nokia bashing, as a former K800i owner (great phone), just by the way things worked out, I currently own an N95 8G and although the interface lacks the polish and consistency of SE, it's features are excellent - and the camera has one essential feature lacking on ALL SE phones - you can force the flash to fire - so you can take pics into the sun and remove shadows from faces. And the speakers are very loud. Both SE and Nokia have their pros and cons and the competition is good. I can even sync my N95 with iTunes. I could not do that with my SE. (I don't think many people know this as Nokia don't make a big thing of it. And SE obviously don't want to help Apple!) All said, Sony do make iPod docks for their HiFi systems, so I guess SE are not totally in bed with Sony. (Separate company divisions?)

I'm a nokia fan but the N96 design is the last draw its so damn ugly and cheap-looking and shouldn't represent nokia's flagship model.
I'm going to buy this phone for sure! not even going to think about nokia N96
they need to get over the N81 look-alike designs its not new and fresh!

got to admit this phone is going to be a great successor to the k850i and the c902.but guys,this just the beginning,when Ericsson release their new platform(released on mid-year of 2009) which i dont remember.:P.the platform can support until 12megapixel.and maybe could be well the first aDSLR phone.anyway this phone rule and nokia sucks.

there is a big missing in this phone it seems to SE doesn't like to use a good Os on phones like Windows Mobile or Symbian this phone strongly needs OS like Windows Mobile or Symbian
