May i go for Elm or wait for 2011 for new
Sony Ericsson models...
I like Elm but dont like the greenheart series features which don't allow a great speaker sound,a good fash...
why they don't launch C901 in India it's a good phone..
I am really confused?...please suggest me...

i need your help..ahy is it that when i received a call i can't hear the person on the other line..i have to put the speaker on or the earphones in order to hear the person on the other line..what will i do?

Recently I've bought an Elm. The look, features, camera quality, call features are good, but a lots of other bad features are there. The sound & speaker phone quality is not good. The flash is not good enough even in comparision with other phones of SE. You can't able to recognise the incoming call during driving or in a crowded area even in full volume. The other unuseful features are excellent.

I got elm on may 2010
Disadvantage:
We cant zoom in high resolution while taking photo..
No loun sound in speaker, so that u cant hear while u r in travelling or in riding.
It often slip from my hand due to its make, back side no grip to catch.
It is slow if the message in inbox is more than 100.
Often u delete call register and inbox to access the mobile fast.
Advaantage:
It is the oly mobile with good configuration in low prize..

Is it possible to change the shortcut to the web (right button under the screen)? Everytime it connects me to the vodafone page and charges me for 0,10€. Verry disappointed.

i bought this phone six months ago. so far i have no problems encountered yet... its specs are good, 5.0mp camera is awesome, wifi is fast and good enough and etc. the only downfall for me would be the small screen, and the music is not loud enough. but its good phone though. :)

And for that tempering of the firmware thing, it can be corrected by a simple update over the Sony Ericsson Update Manager.
And if you update ur firmware then not a single person can detect that ur cell was tempered because it will be completely a fresh install

SnDn, 14 Oct 2010For all d folks who want to try out or need review on this ... moreNo thanks...this is indirectly called 'tampering with the device firmware' which will void ur warrenty...and it makes a device work beyond its normal workin conditions for example the speaker in elm is designed to work on its prescribed sound level by doing this modding thing it will make the speaker work in a higher sound pressure level which might bust the speaker...

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2010I wonder why they disable zooming while taking pictures on ... morebecause in any digital zoom function in any camera, zooming will be done of the image captured i.e 5mp max and that too digitally so there is no point in digital zoom.
In simple words digital zoom crops the image of maximum resolution produced by the camera sensor.
