We will just have to wait and see whether SE will do something on this, just like what Nokia Ovi Maps did.

For larger screen, do consider touchscreen or slide phones.

I'm sorry I have to comment on your comment.
For a phone that is so affordable like Elm, the features are all the best that you can't find in other phones.
1. Camera 5MP is currently one of the best, even gsmarena also praised it!
2. I wonder what are the 3 apps you used. Most people felt that Elm's OS is one of the fastest in this mid-range phones industry.
3. Loudness depends. You may felt that the sound is poor, but others(mostly) like the sound!
4. This is a Green Phone, too bright will just waste energy. When you get used to it, then there's no problem anymore.

Here is one thing that really gets mr goat: these louzy rubberplasticky keypads. Its as if they are building these fones not to last so that you have to buy a new one. Can we have REAL KEYS please, these wierd keypads are becoming too mant form SE.

Dis-advantages:
1.Camera not impressive
2.OS is very slow, esp when works with 2 or 3 applications, and will get hang for a while.
3.sound has no loudness.
4.less brightness

I have been away to put my comments for a while and I have been waiting for the correct moment
As every one says the phone is nice and simple , but Sony Ericsson has removed a feature in this phone that I use a lot CODE MEMO , , and this happening in all new sony ericsoon JAVA phones
as for the rest i am satisfied

I got ma ELM last week. Its very nice phone.. fully loaded. Good camera quality (kindly capture pics in proper light and view pics on computer). Perfect sound quality. but loudness is not upto mark but avg. ok 4 me. loaded with amazing features.. :-p Good battery life. got 2GB microSD memory card as well as data cable. bought worth 11000 INR. Its also having music playing in background option while talking on fone; upto 20 radio chennals saving capacity... :-p M in love with ma ELM :D

Can anyone tell me how to properly setup the wifi for this? Whenever I connect to my linksys router, the router always restarts when i start browsing with my Elm. This happened on two identical routers already. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me how good this phone for internet on PC using EDGE or 3G. Because I have to use this phone for accessing internet on PC mainly, aprox 20hrs. out of 24hrs. ........ So ply any one reply his experience regarding this...
Can I exchange my gmail account in it using POP3 or IMAP.
Can I install 3rd party apps like Rocketalk, Nimbuzz, Opera etc...

Elm, 12 May 2010GreatI ve been using this Elm since Last november, i have purchased in UK. It awesome very handy, Nice camera clarity, music is good, Net connection is depend on the connectivity which you are using. I can suggest to go with Elm when compare to other models in Sony....
