1. Regarding the widgets; did you restart the phone after the update? If not do it now.
(Facebook and twitter widgets do have some problems EXCEPT in 3G network)
2. There is scarcely a chance for software update affecting fps; are you sure? As we know, fps will be less in low light conditions. So try taking a video in full light.
3. I think You can give it to the service center for one day; it is upto you anyway. But you may also try re-installing the software through computer before that.

sony, 21 May 2011"accelarometer sensor for UI auto rotate" is work... moreAutorotate is available in the media center for images/videos and the whole UI of media center including music player.
Autorotate is also available for phone's default internet browser, camera and compatible motion sensor games.
(did I miss something?)

this for techno, you are very much helping the new users & you are knowledgeble too. I updaated the sware thru mobile connectvity ,it was successfull but now the widgets are not functioning as previous, also i observed that while video shooting the rate of fps is bit lowered ! i went the service cener [auth] but they said that i will have to keep the phone with them atleast for one day for their doing the needful
Should i keep the phone with them , does it require somuch time to solve such problem . pl answer.

Is there anyway to stop the beep tone which comes when I do call recording? Please can somebody tell me a way? Or is there any programme to do call recording or to stop that beep tone?

If still problem persist, chnge the SD Card then.

You must have internet settings provided by your network to use the browser and wifi. Before you use wifi, have an internet settings set up first. Ask from your operator to enjoy elm's nice browser. I am using it now.

well, i just recently bought SE Elm and i was fascinated by it's camera. but it beat the crap out of me when i encounter certain problems in internet and Wi-Fi settings. hmpft! who could help me???
And how can i download apps and games??
