It will be interesting to see that. And if it does, that means your phone can not recognize the number in the mob-private field, after flashing(?)
'other' field is more common and universal however. Mobile-private is relatively new and has synchronisation problems also with outlook and other pc apps..

Your questions may be answered many times here. For streaming youtube videos, you just need to start the Youtube application provided in the phone or go to youtube.com through the browser.

Is the new firware realisd 4 this phone b'coz whenever I tried
software update it shows SOFTWARE COULD NOT BE DOWNLOADED however before that it was showing UR PHONE ALREADY HAVE LATEST SOFTWARE

Hi there.
I just did a soft reset but the failure was still there. So I deleted all the entryies of call list. And now, that failure doesn't happen again. But I think I just found what it is.
There are several fields in the phone book. Once you gonna save a number, it asks numbers for MOBILE, MOBILE(PRIVATE), HOME, OTHER, WORK, etc. And have you noticed that the Sony Ericsson PC suit has no field called OTHER. It has only four or five main fields. However when that problem occurs it doesn't show the numbers which are saved under MOBILE(PRIVATE) field. So I just changed the number MOBILE(PRIVATE) to OTHER field. Now it is OK.
Actually I can't understand why does it happen, because normally, in whatever field the number saved, phone must show the number and the name correctly. May be it's a bug or whatever. So please let me know that anyone had to face for the same problem as I had.
And, my facebook inbox doesn't show the contents. And also the twitter application is not working at all. :'(

For those who are wondering whether this phone has 262k colors screen or 16 M ones,
Don't mind it! I'm using Hazel, it's said it has 16 M colors, but the true capability can be read on "default-capability.xml" file - hidden txt files in both phone memory and sd card - and it says ... model j20.. ...display pixels height 320.. display pixels width 240... colors 262144...
It may have 16 M (24 bit) color display, but the capability of the screen is limited to 262k (18 bit) color only. So there would be no difference of 16 M and 262k when you see a same picture on both screens.

SE elm is good handset.i think thd best colour is pearl rose.and it is also a good human factor mobile.it has amazing specifications at low price,long battery life.some of the disadvantages are it has no front camera,low display colour.

If you have saved those numbers twice with two different names than this problem occurs.
try this as I had the same problem with my SE W200 i.
Also would request you to share your ELM experience.

i am using elm since 7 months. Its a good piece.
i have 1 question. A file is created in "other" folder
by name snapfishprint . When & why it is created . Is it a virus ? Pl can anybody tell me..especially i request a person "techno" ...

Try Master Reset>Reset Settings.. See wheher it can be fixed or not. No data is lost, unless you select the second option(reset all)

Hi. I'm using elm since last august. And once I had to flash the phone because of a software issue. And also they changed the ear piece and the front microphone too. However, now I have a new problem. When I open the call list ( by pressing the call key ) it shows my saved numbers as unsaved numbers. So it shows only the number. No names. Why does it happen? Can somebody tell me a way to solve this problem without formatting the phone? Thanks.
