I bought this phone 4 days back & i am verry happy with the phone. It has got awesome display very good camera quality for both pics & taking videos ( no doubt for camera quality of SE phone ) good voice clarity & battery life.WiFi works great. The only thing i did not like is the headphone which i got along with the phone it is very low on sound, speakers of the phone are nice. I miss my equiliser here ( no customisable equiliser ) sad part.
I am happy with my 3rd sony ericsson phone.

Msg, 21 Dec 2010Guys, I moved my all messages in to the memory card. Then f... moreThe messages can't be accessed by another phone, as you hv formatted the phone memory, it made the phone acting as a different phone that managed the messages to the memory card. That's my opinion.
First of all, download and install PC suite to your PC. Then connect your phone to it in PC/Phone mode and click on "text messages" which will open up your sms and archive window on screen. Highlight a message from
the list, right click, select "save as" and save each message to a folder on your PC this way. Finally, with your phone still connected to the PC, simply copy and paste the text message documents to a folder on your
phone or memory card.

Guys, I moved my all messages in to the memory card. Then formatted the phone. Now it says that there are no messages. (I didn't format the memory card.) Can anybody tell me a way to get back my old messages which I moved to the memory card?

I think the only ugly thing at this phone is the weak signal.Yes,signal really sucks at this model.If you exit the city you can't rely much on it unless you keep just the highway...Despite reception,camera is awesome,both foto and video,sound is also amazing,loud and clear,Wi-Fi is present,GPS as well,one on the other for its price is pretty smart and a good choice in my opinion...

Dissappointing, but not unexpected! so far, it shows this kind of problems.
the flash light(torch) does on its own.
autofocus doesnt respond.
the screen goes light and dark whenever it wants
sometimes it freezes.
you can not zoom, when you want to take pictures, only after you have taken them.
what is worst, the phone stays always connected to the internet, which means, the battery goes low on a day, the screen is too small, and you need optic glases!
I woundnt recomand this phone!

A very good phone. every SE fan must own this phone.
only outcome is lack of Xenon flash.

slim design and phone feel very solid & durable
great sound quality both calling & Music
A one of the well designed phone from SE
GPS works well. un here Sri Lanka, wisepilot is not working correctly. but Google maps working.
Recommend to buy. best phone I ever had.
before this, I had C905, 6220c, N73, K800i phones. this is the best.

just bought this phone as used unit. it's been a long while since i owned a standard candy bar phone. what can i say, so far so good. truly satisfied with it. for this price range, i dare not expect much. perhaps, it surprised me with its overall performances.
i compare it with my current xperia x10 and acer liquid, Elm's ringtone sound loud (quite loud indeed) and so does the calling quality is superb too both on earpiece & even loudspeaker! button is nice to press and screen output quality also good & sharp. 5mp pic quality also very good n satisfying while the led flash also can serve as torch light when needing it especially on sudden electricity blackout.
only draw back is the screen size...no comment since it's a 2.2" aspect ratio size LOL. Well, a cell phone is always a cell phone afterall. never expect too much from it. as long as it deliver a good call quality and a decent battery life, tat's more than enough for this kinda phone, this kinda price range.
hope my personal experience & review on this phone help a lot for those who're considering on buying this phone.

I'm using elm for 4 months. And also I used that f....ng Twitter widget too. But now that app isn't working. Once I formated my phone because of the same problem. And again it happens. I'm really disappointed. Please can anybody tell me what to do? Great great help.

?, 18 Dec 2010Friends, i'm using this handset. But thought to buy a nokia... morebetter to go for nokia x6 8gb...... it is much better then 5800........and of same cost...u can go for htc wildfire....thats more good
