Try that before complaining again!

Thanks s.ericsson iam using this phone one years and there is no problem except occasional hangup but this is goodphone for internet.3g in this phone is excellent.facebook,utube,camera,video also good.overall it is a nice phone in this price range.salilan

Wonderful phone. I have been using it for 2 years. No complaint . Give hands to sony ericsson. None of the 2mp camera's of nokia can take this good pictures.best phone availabale in its price range.

I've bought the phone in 2008, august. Since then i've been ultra-heavy on it's usage. I had more than 100 games on its memory card, surfed the net, watched videos and a lot more. For its price tag it's a phone like no other in the price range. Sure, it does hang up on occasion but just reset it by yourself and it's fixed for some time. For what i paid for it, i got more than i ever thought i would. I had K3001 before and both were good only this one, G502, is miles ahead in functionality.
Those who keep complaining, get another phone and stop it. Or make a phone yourself.

arun, 16 Aug 2010the function of the phone is excellent.but it get hangs fre... moreactually no phone can zoom in 2mp mode unless you have optical zoom or lens more than 2mp.(nokia is fooling people by giving zoom in their 2mp phones.) You can zoom in vga mode or you can zoom after photo is taken(i think upto 32x).

Thanks alot to the people who designed this phone, it's very advanced and great but i have a battery problem so i want to know where can i get a new battery and a new cover/face for my G502 phone

Its an amazing phone. Using over 1 year, no problem faced. excellent features in low cost among all sony ericsson phones. Excellent look, nice camera (during daytime), amazing internet speed (while downloading using IDM i sometimes get speed of 25KBPS), U-Tube streaming works fine as well as facebook (you must have special internet package from service provider. I am using airtel 98 Rs per month internet offer). Internet surfing on PC is excellent. Excellent earphone sound quality (megabass preset included). Display is very good. Overall an excellent phone to be used. I am fully satisfied.

I've had this phone for a year now - I bought it as a replacement when I lost my k610i.
- It's got a great design, it looks sleek. However the body is pretty thick and can look a bit chunky.
- The 240x320 display is very crisp and it's a big step up from my k610i's 176x220.
- There is no video camera on the front for video calling. I loved that on my old phone.
- The buttons are ridiculously loud. Don't try texting in a quiet area.. you will be heard from miles around!
I can't conclude whether it's a step up or not from my old phone, but here's my advice: ONLY buy this phone as an intermediate. If you want a good, long term phone go with the new C510 (my next phone) or similar. This phone is only good if you're on a serious budget and you're deaf - maybe a good one to keep in the closet for when you lose one.

G502 it seems to have shut down after I charged it it says battery fully charged the girating rodent in the top hat dances around and then the whole thng goes black and that's it. What is happening here I have lost my instruction book .Can I get another?

good phone, user friendly.onl battery backup is poor. and my phone shuts off in middle of a msg or call sometimes.pls advice.
