it's not bad .. at this price tag.
it doesn't have secondary cam, but it does support video-calls ! :-)
(a feature that many luxurious phones don't support.)
not really comfortable to have the cam and the display at opposite sides, but i don't really need it to see my dialogue partner, but i need it to show processes.

Raks, 28 Jan 2010it has a big problem that it restarts many times automatically.
you need to update it. go to the sony ericsson home page then go to support. there will be a popup that says have you updated your phone? follow the steps and make sure you have a usb cord. i updated my phone and now it works perfectly.

My phone start multiple times in a day and hangs as well. it does register the nos in missed call or dailed call nos for non saved nos.
I have upgraded the software as well still no solution.
Please suggest as i am planning to BAN Sony ericsson in my list

the sony ericsson is quite a good phone apart from the restarting problem. besides that the phone has a great media player. a decent camera and fast internet. the phone will often switch itself off.if this happens with your g502 then you need to update it. go to the sony ericsson home page then go to support. there will be a popup that says have you updated your phone? follow the steps and make sure you have a usb cord. i updated my phone and now it works perfectly.

After reading all reviews here, i decided to buy this phone. I've been using it for past 9 months.
The biggest f**g problem is the software, which crashes whenever i get a call from unsaved number.
Whats the point to have all good hardware/features with buggy software??
Have u ppl have any solution for this?
