earL, 08 Apr 2009hi guys. got lots of questions and i really hope somebody w... moreWhen you convert it to mp4, be sure to use a lower kbps say 400 to 500 (if that option is available). And a screen not bigger than 320x240. Otherwise it wont play.

earL, 08 Apr 2009hi guys. got lots of questions and i really hope somebody w... moreYeah. Mine too. It ruins the look of the menu structure. What i did, i modified the menu, replace it with the alarms, and added file manager. I don't use the playnow feature anyway.
Never tried watching youtube. I will try it and see.
G502 can only play mp4 and 3gp video formats. There are plenty of free video converters on the net. Just google it.

hi guys. got lots of questions and i really hope somebody will be able to help me. :)
1. why is it that i don't have the PlayNow widget on my g502? the first icon on my menu is a paper with the SE logo, not the green arrow inside the green box. T.T
2. i'm using opera mini 4.2 and it's great. way way better than the original browser. but i still can't watch videos in youtube. it always says "failed to connect to media server". neither can i download them. why why why? T.T
3. i was surprised that g502 can't play mpg videos. is there such a thing as mobile converter so that you can just convert mpg to 3gp or mp4 files in your phone?
so far these are the only things bugging me. i really hope somebody will be able to help me. thanks a lot guys. :)

Can any one say how is the sound quality in tis phone....... moreIt's good. The backspeaker is loud. The headset (if you get HPM-62 like mine) is above average. The sound quality is good but could use a bit more treble. Too much bass. But you can easily tweak the acoustics of this phone. :-) Now it sounded great (for my taste).
No reason to grudge the music capability of this phone. This is not a walkman phone. If music is not on the top of your priority list, buy this. Though i have mixed feelings about the camera. No offense, but i think my old k510 produces images with better details, albeit sometimes inaccurate colors. But who cares, I already have this phone. One that really struck me the most is the keypad design and the backlighting. I really like it very much. And the display is excellent. Go for it...

But just buy w series headset and u'll get gread soud whit megabass :-D

Mina, 01 Apr 2009no cable data? How I suppose to connect to internet with my... moreBetter u use data cable rather than bluetooth for modem connection (data cable is more better in speed).
But but when u use bluetooth modem connection u can sharing network with 3 of PC at same time (G502 have a sharing network feature via bluetooth tech.)
