Bought this mobile a week ago and let me tell you this phone is worth every penny you pay ...I had w830i before and so transferred my entire 4gb to this mobile and there is no sign of slowing down or hanging ,of course the headphone comes with this is not upto sony standards and me using hpm70 ..threadview messaging is great , battery back up is great in 2g but people say it's very less in 3g ... GO FOR IT :)

NPaNxxx, 18 Aug 2010No its not a defect.The dimming is a tactic used to save po... morehii.. thanx 4 reply. but dimming effect that u r saying is- that screen gets dimmer after some secs when u dont press any button(idle state), and it gets brighter when u press any button. thats ok. do u mean that? but i m talking about- a distortion kind of thing (like the sreen adjustes itself.. mostly giving horizontal lines and a bit of a blurred effect on a part of the screen for 1 sec). Like When we open photos in other sony phones also..pics first appears blurred for a sec, then it adjusts itself and become clear..but this effect is on whole pic(screen).. And waht i m asking, similar kind of distortion occur in a part of my screen mostly when i open or close something. So whats that??????

i purhcased sony j 105i naite last week i found the phone very cool the sound and picture quality is good.

I have two models i my mind Nokia 5230 and SE ... morei bought naite 4 days back. yes it has megabass option. and i dont agree with people who say dat headphones r not gud. i found that they r equally gud as walkman phone(w580i-my old cell) headphones.. though it lacks 3.5 jack. Ya the speaker sound is bit on lower side as compared to walkman 580i. But its enough loud and audible and at par with all the phones other than walkman series. So i wonder why people r concerned about incresing the sound..!!! (earlier after reading the comments i was concerned abt sound but now i found its ok) camera is better in day light than in interiors...but it lacks flash light. So apart from 3.5 jack and flash light , phone is gud.
Rest i want my friend to help me in my previous post about the distortions that occur on screen.. is this that the screen adjusts itself or its a defect? thanx

hii.. i wana ask when something minimises on the screen or when any pop up closes or appear.. there occurs some kind of distortion (some lines or sprinkles kind of things..not on whole screen but on some part of the screen) on the screen for 1 sec...and then it becomes ok(normal). so i wana ask whether its any defect? or its normal & like this only (may b bcoz of Lcd screen)and it occurs in everyone's naite??? Plz reply.

I have two models i my mind Nokia 5230 and SE Naite.I give preference for music and document supports. Please someone tell me whtr we can use this phone to view documents (pdf, word, excel, ppt). If yes, I will buy this phone. Also please tell me wthr it has MEGABASS eqilizer in it.
