Regarding sound quality , the Naite has a very good sound output just change the factory supplied ear piece and your set to enjoy fantastic music.

Hi guys i am a music lover and i wanna buy sony ericsson naite , my question is that any one have experienced this phone with HPM-64 , HPM-77 , HPM-83 & HPM-88 if yes then tell me.
remember one thing any music controlling ear phone (changing song and controlling voice) will not work with this phone because sony ericsson is giving MH-300 with it by which you can only receive calls and nothing more than that it means the phone is not designed to accept the any command from any external hands free.
hence HPM-82 may cause problem.
and don't compare thisphone with nokia 5130 i know it has bad music quality you will besurprised to know that samsung guru e1410 is good music phone then nokia 5130

Regarding Battery Backup,
According to the specification of J105 Naite, the handset is suppose to give talk time of 13 hours or stand by time of 600 hours in standard condition which means the battery should be completely charged, signal strength should be good, back light and vibrator should be off, display contrast should be minimum. Also using of GPRS,Bluetooth or FM Radio or musics are considered as talk time.
Under these conditions ,still you are getting poor battery backup then there could be some problem either with battery or the handset

Hi ZRX, Regarding your questions to battery backup, regular texting,jave games and 2hrs music playback on ear plugs a day can easily last upto 3days on a single charge. But base on my experience Battery backup on Phone call is pretty low, i can only get about 5hrs worth of call before it warns me Battery Low on the same day usage.. So if you are going to use it for heavy calling its pretty bad..It would basically last you 1day only. 5hrs of call on GSM network only with moderate texting and about 1hr of java game is enough to drain the battery from 99%charge to Battery Low warning.Hope this helps

They will report the problem to the head office. Sadly they won't be able refund the money instead offered me a regular one plus another phone accessory... Naturally I had to agree I had no other choice... I guess It's R&D problem with sonyericsson.

zrx, 01 Feb 2010please help.cant we install java apps on this phone.some pe... morewho said his phone doesnyt install java application. my dear sony got the best of java .but choose good and working application not adwares .i installed opera mini,bolt ,dictionary,gmail apps,mobilepdf,mobilerar,mobyexplorer,nimbuzz,shaplus mobie information,twitter,minifring,amAze ,and they all works very well even java games made for nokia s40 goes well here.. all izz well!

Even if your videos are in the above formats, there may be some incompatbility with bitrate/audio formats etc. Use a standard application to convert your videos.

Reply to shivaker: hi shiva. We are on the same boat. I also bought that HPM82 handsfree and i'm experiencing the same problems that you are facing. I have sent a mail to sony ericsson and they have asked me to return the handsfree to the place where we bought it and mail them the tag id to them so they can track it and solve. But the sony service centre guy here is simply refusing to take it! Apparently that snow ericsson centre deals with problems involving the handset and handsfree and not the problems involving handsfree that were bought separately! It feels like i'm being punished for buying sony! Many warned me of bad customer support. I failed to listen! There is another service centre run by accel service centre which is even worses! Very long queue and to make it even worse half their computers were.nt working! :( their service is bad indeed! Whats your status with the handsfree now ?

please help.cant we install java apps on this phone.some people say that everytime they install an app. the phone shows an error message.is it true?also what about the battery backup?how is it?i urge all the naite users to reply to these queries.
i am planning to buy this phone.so please if the users would reply,it would be of great help.also i would appreciate if the naite users would share their experiences with us.a detailed user review would be of great help.

Guys,please help. Need your experience on Battery performance of Naite. I have mine for 1 month now and base on my experience get about 5hrs worth of call on Gsm network per charge on same day usage. Website claims upto 13hrs of talktime and I can't get any where near it. Please give your oponion.

Guys, Please post your battery time of Naite. i'm pretty disappointed with the battery holding power. May be my expectations was too high. Its very good on stand-by, texting, Music play back and Java games. But when it comes to phone calls its pretty disappointing. I get about 5-6hrs max call time on GSM network only per charge. This is pretty disappointing coz website says it can last upto 13hrs talktime. 5hrs is no where near 13hrs. BTW 5hrs is consumed with in a single day. I'm a heavy user on phone calls.

Hey guys...I m plannin 2 buy a cp in the range of 6-7k..But i wanna knw mre megabass feature of naite n is it as gud as the mp3 playback loudness of nokia 2700 n 5130..Plz guys reply as i m in need of ur help very badly coz i m a music freak.Would u suggest i go 4 the 5130 instead.Its urgent plz help..Thnx..
