how to create/convert mp4 files playable on naite ?
i tried converting files thru vlc player but these files are not playable here
can anyone suggest a compatible tested converter here

hi guys
i actually wanna ask U about "sony naite" wt are the differnt network modes available in it. like it has 1)"gsm mode" 2) "gsm&3g mode". apart from these is it also having only" 3G MODE".
as earlier phones of sony like t700 had only these 2 modes so whenever 3g signals got lost for a while it switched to 2g mode and doesnt automatically connect again in 3G network.{nokia has seperate mode UMTS for 3G networks}

Balaji, 15 Dec 2009Hi Sachin, You have mentioned that you have unlimited GPRS.... morespeed depends on operator it has 3g and 3.5 mbps speed my metwork dont have 3g . in india the edge speed i got in airtel network is 30 to 40 kbps in mobile and pc both. its same as my early phones moto v360 and nok. 3610. but they can gave this speed only in pc not in phone.

to disable 3g goto
setting->connectivity->mobile network->gsm/3g network->gsm only

Out of the box I thought the battery life was great, and then a week or so later I am barely getting 48 hours between charges. I dont listen to music or make many calls / txt's, etc.
I have noticed the Bluetooth icon always on and have now shut that off, but it doesnt seem to have made a lot of difference to the battery drain. I have just worked out how rid myself of 3g (you need to go to Setings / Connectivity / Mobile networks and select GSM only.

Is it true that the battery lifetime of Naite is up to ... morethe battery really lasts for 600 hours if you will not use it at all, of ourse it is not truly 600 hours because you will use it for music, texting, etc. but as for my experience, the naite can last for 5 days with normal use, IF: you will decrease display brightness preferably upt to 60% and turn off the 3G signal bacause it uses power even if not in use.
the one who posted that he charges his naite twice daily, maybe that is not an original naite, maybe a fake imitation. the battery is good.
Camera is not good, but the naite has a PhotoFix feature that adjusts brightness of the picture and quality. if you use PhotoFix, pictures looked good.

Great phone, great battery backup, stylish, thin & fast. Supports 3D in Java, easily allowing a Doom port to run on this device. It also has some API that allows you, as a developer to write a Flash object and hook it to your Java code.
I recommend this over the XpressMusic series, it's much more feature rich, and it supports a large microSD.

this phone got two camera of 2 mp one at front and another at back . u can use or take pic from any of the camera ( u can make your hair style by looking at front camera)

this is a simply great phone. i have being using this phone for past 1 month and did not face any type of problem. battery back up is very good as well as the sound of this phone. but the headphone provided is not up to the mark so i will buy another pair of good headphones. but overall it is a great phone at this price point.. good going sony ericsson, keep it up..
