Yes, the specifications do sound the same like G502i except for microSD. The key layout too resembles G502i but misses its wavy design.
The trapezoidal design involving black-silver looks like a lift off from ol' K510i (check out the side-view of both to appreciate the similarity).
This design helps holding the phone firmly.
If priced right in the rate of G502i (Rs.7000 in India), then this phone has every potential to become a hit...

It looks more or less similar to the already launched G502 and the specs too appear the same. The only major difference I could see is that the secondary memory is microSD and not MemoryStick M2 as in G502. Since microSD is comparitively cheaper, this one should be should be better than G502 I guess. Wishing for a media player with MegaBass on the same.

If this phone is targeted at the mid budget range, then it shud do a good job attracting the crowd. But the design, although seems to be a bit of a ve-already-seen type, sits well enough to be ergonomic, which is more important. The camera button shud not be of too much worry, for, it does not matter wen u dnt ve autofocus.
Hope the key pad does not come with the same material as the G502 in which the call buttons become scrappy in a very short period of time wen the paint peels off. CHEERS TO SE!!!

lucky me there's no camera button, coz I never used camera botton for take a picture. I always use the "OK" button from the D-pad. Hahaha, my hand always shaking and it make the picture unfocused.
Nokia classics series have no camera button too. Why noone complaint about it???

My last post. I love the design. It reminds me of my good old k510. But why the missing camera button? Even phones with vga camera have dedicated camera buttons. I'm a big fan of Sony Ericsson. Value for money is what i'm looking. SE's low-midrange phones: there's always a catch somewhere.

Shame. No camera button. And the fast port connector is on the left side of the keypad. I'm a left-handed person. What was Sony Ericsson thinking?
