I have this phone since more than a year.
One word describing it would be: GREAT!
Its an amazing phone compared with the reasonably low price
Pros:
1- Good reception
2- Fast Internet browsing + RSS reader
3- Good sound
4- Wonderful display
5- Never halted or restarted by itself i.e: Nokia ;)
Cons:
1- You can't choose a specifec ringtone for each profile!

Yeah!!! I went to Megamall, and saw this, It really rocks on the stand!!! it's 8,000.00 PHP, right now i don't have money to buy it, but for sure i'll buy one for my birthday on december, probably it's price will drop for sure, and im waiting for it!!
I saw K800 and i think it's cool too, I want it but much expensive than this fone, it's 12,000.00 php whew, better buy this fpone first then have it upgrade to K800, hehehe!!!

great phone!!! i had k750i for so long and i just bought my new k610i and im in love again... xD k750i was really good (despite joystick) and k610i is even better! Don't think, just BUY it ;)

well..not bad 4 a mid range hi-end fone..i bought 1 4 my bro and i think he's enjoying it..it has cool features, no fm radio though..just buy 1gig memory card and it'll surely rock!

uhmm, my comment to this phone is, the phone is really good !.. the music player is so loud and it can hear it within a large noise... its like a true speaker... the sms,mms, and email is great , i can send it rapidly...
about the camera, its really good... it captures like "true pictures" especially on good light conditions... the camera infront is really perfect, when using a 3g phone call...
its performance is really great, i would recommend it on the market...
have this ph0ne with 1gb and 16mb internal memory....... here, in the philippines... using it for almost 10 months, and its really ok....

I've got this phone (the white one) a week ago and I think it's a good cell: good size, slim, good looking (looks a bit too plastic, but it's solid), much lighter than my N70, hehe.
In general, it's a good cellphone for those who doesn't need too many things (talking, sms's, music). The camera is ok, but not amazing: dark colors have too much noise and sometimes, pictures are not well focused when the light is under low conditions.
Music very good and user interface s good too.
I really recommend it.

im juz asking what to do with the phone when it automatically shut down and doesn't want to open anymore, when i press the power button, red light just flashes on top. what's wrong with this?

i have this phone and it's good from functionality and price. but after 2 months of use the phone's 4, 7, * and # keypad starts to malfunction, when you press those numbers it does not respond and when you press the number 9 it goes to the profiles wherein you select normal, silent modes.
its really disappointing thinking i have finally found a phone that satisfies me. now i cannot write a text message, i'll send this back to have it repaired.
does anyone experience the same thing? or does anyone knows how to fix this problem?
P.S. i didn't use this phone extremely to cause those keypad to malfunction. as a matter of fact i left this phone safely in my house and then when i got home i discovered the malfunctions.
now i'm starting to believe people whose been saying that the durability and software of this phone is weak. hope that it could be repaired

Hi, Again, Can anyone tell me if they fixed the noise wherever or whenever this fone is subjected to low light condition using it's 2 megapixel camera?? I read one of the reviews last time and it says that they are working on it, I hope in the final release of this phone, it was fixed so that it'll be much better, I really want this phone so please leave me an answer to all of my questions, I will really apreciate it alot, Tnx, -nikz

Sony Ericsson K610 is in the medium class of mobile phones and is aimed at people who need functionality and reliability at the same time from their phones - it's seems to us that it's targeted mainly at the office workers - it has a classic design, high-tech features, compact size and has everything that's necessary to back up your daily schedule. In fact, as regards to the functional characteristics of K610, it is fully identical to Sony Ericsson W710 with the added 3G features.
The K610i version of the phone is to be sold in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. The other version K610c is for Mainland China. Recently, Sony Ericsson announced another new version of the phone to be manufactured - K610im which will be a black, i-mode version of K610. I-mode is a network operator service for direct handling of iMail, for browsing the Internet and viewing online content.
Before we start, though, we should warn you that the phone we tested was a beta version so there are some bugs we found and we are more than sure that they would be fixed in the final version. We won't mention those as we go along the review though, because the bugs are a pretty common thing in a pre-release version.
As regards the retail package, the box should include a stereo headset, a USB cable and a 64MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card along with a Memory Stick Duo Pro adapter but as we have always said - the contents of the retail package are market and country dependant.

Gee! I really want this fone now, but as per system checking, I can buy it on December, becoz I have to save up money for this, whew, 3 Months of excitement, I hope this phone will serve me well, and I hope they already fixed sum bugs like in the prototype they tested, I want the i-mode version of this fone, the black one, and I hope they fixed the "auto shutdown" capability of this fone! HEHEHEHEHE!! some users experience this technical problems, I hope its their fault, putting up some .mp3's and lots of it from a PC, they don't even check if there is a virus within the files they are trying to upload to their K610's! I will love this baby and treat it as my best pal, YEAH! hehehe!
