have an update to your phone software at sonyericsson website. the site provides you step by step intuitive and easy following instructions to update the phone software. by the help of updating the phone software you can fixed any annoying bugs especially the restarts and white/black blank screen of deaths which appears to be an often problem to most SEs devices. but at least this is the only problem you would encounter to SEs products other than having restartings/lags/freezes and bugs in smartphones in which are not 100% fixed in phone SW updates.

i wouldnt recommend 6288 cos the slider is not as smooth as the old version of it-6280 even after some time. it just gets rougher and it doesnt spring up like other sliders do. u'l get frustrated. but who knows u may be the lucky one??!! :) just my 2 cents worth.

wat colors are your k610s? so far i'v only seen the black and the red in singapore. the red is really cool! am thinking of getting it now. got one for my uncle and he's complaining that this phone shuts off by itself when he left it untouch in his bag. was wondering if its just on standby but he said he pressed the buttons a few times and it just doesnt turn on till he switch it off and on again. but i encounter similar situation with other sony ericsson phones esp the w810i. it just stay as black screen for quite some time while i kept punching the keypad til it turned on again. does this happen to your k610?

hi all ive had this phone for 5 months its on o2 and never let me down. Lately ive updated the softwere from the sonyericsson site and its even faster than before and the battery life has improved from 3 days of full txts and calls it now goes for 4 day after updating the softwere. For me its a great phone even if its not one of the top guns

No good. Have had phone for 6 months and has been repaired once for reception issues (5 weeks) and once for shutting down and not turning back on (6 weeks and counting). Apparently still waiting for parts. Sony Ericsson/Vodafone will not replace until it breaks down 3 times. Worst phone ever.

The phone was OK in the beginning. Today, it shut down by itself & I can't switch it on. Tried for several hours! The battery was full as I just charged. Can someone help?

oh...i have been using this phone for four months turning to five on april.......damn it...it just shut down and until now it can't open.....its about 3 hours...help...

Good things: speaker is great, sound recorder is fun too, superb screen, good camera (video or photo) in outdoors, easy to use, many games, strong software and the battery reach 4-5 days with a moderate use, very good bluetooth with many fun apps.
Bad things: regular camera at indoors, no flash, no sync with isync Macosx by default (you need to download drivers made by third party), if u have big fingers, u must disable the internet perfil because the internet button its to easy to click (or have the movil blocked all time).

a great phone, with a superb design, slim and a lot of features. Faster than k750/w800/w810, sounds good, display is medium , very comfortable; 8.5/10;

This phone totally sucks, it's a really boring handset. I've been using this phone for abt a year, nothing special abt it. If u're thinking of buying this phone, better not, u'll regret for sure.. This phone is more suitable for older people. But if u dun care abt the phone appearance, this phone should be quite ok. In all words.. NO LIFE !

I had this phone for several months, and I hated it!..Poor pictures quality, Freezed up sometimes..I like my s710a better than this k610i...So disappointing!

As per the feedback frm the customers this fone wrks quite well....the only drawback r the keys..its just u hv to hit it a bit harder!!!

Hi all,
Can any 1 tell me that does this fone supports AAC file?I tranfer AAC file to my fone and its str8 away saved in OTHERS folder and it cant b played...Second thing i want 2 ask is when i take a foto,the foto goes white...so i have 2 modify the pic in photo dj......can any 1 help me out wid this.

I've been using k610 for more that two weeks now and I'm a little disappointed. First, it has difficulty getting the my network's signal. I have to get a better spot before I can make a call or send a text message. I wouldn't say it's my network's problem since my colleague at work is using the same cell provider but using nokia, but she has signal all the time. Second, calls are chappy. Third, keys are a too sensitive. So you need to check what you keyed in to make sure you have the right letter unlike in Nokia the letter that comes out responds properly to what you're trying to key in the message. I hope not all SE phones are like this bec. I'm planning to replace it to another SE phone particularly K800i. But if all SE phones experiences these problems, I might go back to Nokia.
