hi just got this phone, i think its great compared to my last phone. I was just wondering how do you put a space in text messages because when i hit the 0 button i get a 0 instead of a space, can anyone help me?

SICK TO DEATH OF BRANDING!
I have been buying SE phones for years, always found them to be reliable and flexible - Until now! This branding crap is getting out of control. If SE must brand their phones, I should have the right to get the generic software downloaded to my phone off their website - without voiding my warranty. I ask you, what is more valuable, a generic SE phone, able to be sold to anyone and compatible to any GSM network, or a branded phone, only compatible with some telco networks. (E.g. SE don't seem to tell you that their Vodafone K610 doesn't work on the 3 network)
As for phone locking, even if they unlock the phone it still didn't work on the 3 network. Now that we have the comfort of not having to have a contract - SE wants to collude with Telco to lock us in via the phone.
If we didn't have open standards guys, we will be back in the dark ages! You should have the right to take your phone to the telco you see fit. (The plans are complicated enough, why should I now need to worry about my phone working as well)
If the Telcos services were so good - why would I need to shop around?

i think that this phone is very cool. i'm planning of buying this. this phone has the OS format same with W550 but featuring a different font and other features are enhanced. i have used a w550 for 6 months and i was really amazed with its operating system. the OS is fast and has great animations. besides that, you can download many themes from www.lasyk.net. sony ericsson has the widest source of theme downloads. and most of all, the BST-37 battery model, which powers K610, K750 and the walkman phones, really has a long charge life.
oh, back to SE. the nice thing about the latest SE phones is that they feature a music player which operates like iPod. although K610 is not a walkman phone, it still features the one embedded in walkman phones; the walkman trademark is only removed.
the only drawback is the absence of photolight and FM radio.
i would recommend people to try SE phones. please don't buy nokia. they release phones almost every week therefore making drawbacks on the support for their old models.

How did you configure ur 3G??? i brought mine to globe office in g8way and they configured it...but when i try to video stream GMA live it says failure... and when i surf does it use the 3g speed or just gprs? because its slow... and my 100 peso load run out for just 3 min when surfing... tnx if anyone can help =)

You can't drag and drop from the internal memory. What I suggest is that you set the photos to be stored in the M2 using the camera settings. Or you can mark the photos you want and copy to the M2.

dis is a choice fone... but i h8 the fact that i cnt transfer stuff from the fone 2 the comp only from the memory card 2 the comp... but otha den dat its all good up n dis hood.... p.s. if ne1 no how 2 do that plz tel me..

Bought the phone one week back...
Some points potential buyers may need to note:
At USB mode, incoming calls are not possible
Not possible to take pictures with the secondary camera
You can't turn off the shutter sound
Overall...a 8/10.

USB charging does not work until the software is loaded on the PC! - NO FLASH MEANS terrible picture in poor light conditions or even under a tree shadow in the middle of the day. - AVOID THIS PHONE AT ALL COST!

ATTENTION - this phone DOES NOT USE real 2MP hardware for its camera. it simply resizes the pictures from 1MP to 2MP via software so the quality of it is simply BAD. justa utile attempt of Sony Ericsson to obtain more money (same like motorola and E398 and Rokr) - stick to K750!

K610 is a great telephone. I were using before it I mate SP5.
I miss only prayer time program which was available on I mate.
Its design is great, Camera quality is good but not like K750i.

is there any websites where we can ACTUALLY see the quality of the pictures? because my photo quality isnt that awesome i wanna check if my phone is faulty..

how is the ring volume and sound quality is it clear and loud enough?
how about the volume of the phone when you are talking on it. is it loud enough to hear the person on the other line clearly?

for those having troubles connecting their Phone 2 the PC via USB...my pc always say new hardware found even i alredy installed the driver..but i found a solution,..after u pluged the usb to ur phone..click phone mode...then after than juz ignore the found new hardware window...then in ur phone go to settings then usb connection,,,then click file transfer mode...then open windows explorer and you'll see ur M2 card in my computer and then u can be able transfer file to the memory card...Its a nice phone..nuce 2mp camera.. and a nice mp3 player! its worth buying this phone...to the filipino asking if 11-12k php is a recon... yes it is a recon almost all bought in tiangge are recon..juz buy it in welcom or other authorized phone if u want a original one...

According to that study SE K610 has goed battery life for talktime among others.
And Kevin thanks for your share,I think that study can be believed. Because I have read also from our friend in J230 forum.

Has anyone had any troubles connecting the phone to the computer using the software provided? I've tried several times to connect the phone via USB to transfer files and it won't work. Please help!
