hi, from the gsmarena comparison chart, i can't find any differences between K610 and K618. just different casing design?

yes it does have megabass, the phone has exactly same features as a walkman phone

No, K610i has not built-in flash,but you can buy MXE-60 (xenon flash).One from our friends use it with V630,so I think you can also use it for K610i.

K610 is capable for video streaming how can i set my phone for this service? base to our network that se is not supported by video streaming...i just want to know if that's true..tnx...pls. reply...

I just got the D900 phone in the last few days (it's amazing by the way!). Now I have always had Nokia's for a long time and my last was the 6230 a very reliable phone. For my upgrade I first recieved the SE K610i (red version) which I must say has a great design, is slim and feels good in your hand. However, there are some fundamental problems that I found with the SE operating system. First when you get in the call log you can't see the number of the contact and there is no time for when the call was recieved/made/missed. Second to exit any part of the menu/ software available on the phone, one has to press the 'return button'! Very frustrating when wanting to make a call straight away. So overall a thumbs down for the K610i and I sent it back!
Hope this helps for those of you that don't have SE's...good hunting :)

I got it a couple of days ago instead of the nokia 6233 which was way to heavy! I am quite happy with it. Comfortable in hand, calling etc, had to get used to the menu (never owned a SE before) but works fine, no OS crashes at all. Okay sound was better on the 6233 (stereo side speakers), but I am happy with the cam. Internet is also faster than the 6233. Too bad no radio etc and no headphones included in the box, instead there is a usb cable which is nice to have. Synchronising with outlook is quick without problems. I am happy because I like small, light simple phones (my previous was nokia 6100, amazing simplicity Philips can only dream of :)).

Interesting study about talktime, but in this site K610i is only test for talktime in GSM not in 3G.

Good: appearance, weight, design, price ok.
Weakness: camera lens not good enough, no infra red, no radio, no torch light, hang 2 times after using a few days, easy to press wrongly the button for internet connection.

This phone is the best ever!! I have got Samsung, Motorola and Nokia. I thought that, I was a Samsung freak, but now I am a Sony Ericsson Freak! You HAVE to Buy IT! :o)

the k610 looks like a really phone and thats good because im going to get it soon. It has good camera quality lots of memory and 3d games. What more could a person want.

1) Can it download a 5MB of MP3 file from internet to the phone and how fast is that?
Yes it can download a 5 MB song. It can take around 2 minutes or more, depending on your operator.
2) How long does a battery last with one hour of music?
The K610 can last for 10-20 hours worth of music on flight mode.
3) Is the 2MP camera clearer than Samsung X700?
Yes.
4) Does it record up to one hour of video and is the quality better than Samsung X700?
You can record as much video as your memory can hold. Could be an hour or more depending on amount of free memory. And video recording is the same.
5) Does this phone play full songs for example 8MB MP3 file?
Yes, it can play all mp3 and aac
