ok 1st, got to the SE web, then go to support, then go to update service and download the update service to ur computer(its about 23mb) then run it, it will download the update, then follow the instructions given like take out ur sim card,then put back the battery,then hold the c button while connecting ur phone to the PC then the update will be downloaded to ur phone(just wait a few mins) then after it is successfully installed, unplug the usb wire from the pc and insert back ur sim card and use ur phone as normal with the new software.

it doesnt matter. After u install and plug in ur hp, it will detect k618i also. :)

i also go to the SE support website and i findout didnt got update firmware on K618i. but K610i got update software only.....

for those who didnt know, the volum keys can also be used as foward and reverse buttons for the music player..just hold for like 1 second and it will fast forward or reverse..

i have updated it too. The icon will pop up..haha..funny.. but the update should change the phone icon for keypad lock. after press *, the icon still is k610. hahahahah.

dude u like to turn on stereo widening?? to me, if u turn it on it sounds mono rather than stereo. if u turn it off it sounds much better isnt it?

i realized the sound features improved, cos @ blinkguy
im always using its mp3 player, since i bought it.. in the music settings, my sterio widening is always on, its a better sound if you turn it on, but after a song it goes back to sterio off sound, even if its turnd on, you have to reselect it on again... but after the update, it does not turns off
evry song.

use the SE support service website, download and install the update service in your pc, and connect your fone and run the update you've installed, it will search for the latest software for your fone.... gudluck!!

u can update the software thru sonyericsson.com support service.. download the update to your pc, and intsall it to ur pc.. then connect ur fone and run the update.. follow the instructions, and it will search and install for your phones latest software....
