This phone is all well and good with its 2MP camera but what is the point of having such a good camera if it lets you down when taken it outside, and you see loads of dust behind the screen making it impossible to see display.
Sony Ericsson messed up all the way on this phone. Stick with my E720 i think.

I have used mobile phones since 1998. I use it for business and make a lot of calls.
I also have changed mobile 24 times. Most of my mobile are ericssons, since first start with ericsson 318.
I just bought K750 too last month, I feel that K750 very good for making a call and taking picture, long battery life.
If you really like Nokia, just go for it and buy nokia, none asking you to buy SE.

so jesus this means that i can't update the software if the phone has quickshare?? (in romania wee use quickshare) Are there odher ways too update your phone??

I have noticed some of you provided information on ways to ascertain the firmware version (with the joystick), however, none of you made an effort to mention that the process doesn't work on all k750i's.
That technique works well with vodaphone, orange, etc but not with Quickshare (the one I use).
Someone asked about increasing the radio volume? Simple, do the adjusting you would do for any ringtone or mp3 on the side (the camera zoom keys). Oh ya, use the stereo headset. Any more volume can definitely damage your ears and the headset/speakers.
Sony Ericsson are smart indeed LOL.

ok i got it , you need yhe latest software!!! but how do i ghet it and install it?? beacouse in mi contry sony reicsson doseen;t have a authoraizd sevice...... Can i fixx all the problems on my own?? if it iz too compicated to explain mail-me or send me the latest software!!! pls

No it uses the phones new jack which is different from old sonyericsson phones

The newest firmware version is R1L002 which is what i currently have on my phone, it made the phone much faster and more stable.My phone doesnt freeze anymore or restart itself.Most people having the same problem needed the newer firmware only nothing else.

Dont listen to fawzi nokia 6630 sucks compared to se k750i which has a 2mg camera, faster bluetooth which shows more details and a nicer animated interface which is way better than old sonyericsson phones. nokia 6630 is big but se k750i is small, lightweight and sexy. The k750i may have some glitches but can be easily solved using the updated firmware from sonyericsson which is what i used. My k750i crashed in the first three days which disappointed me but after i got it sent to sonyericsson service, they fixed and there is no problem at all now so i highly recommend you get this phone.
Does anyone know how to increase volume of the speaker as much as the radio?

I am always a fan of Ericsson(SonyEricsson).Remember,big brother,R520m, I am still using that model,No doubt, it is an outdated and yet to be outbeaten in terms of durability and its features.I am not that so-called,mms crazy or logos or tones crazy fancy kind of a guy.My prime prime concern is the connectivity and the convenience is in making and saving up contacts, makes this phone very friendly for those who are on business, rushing for clients or customers.

This phone is very compact & userfriendly. The last phone I bought was Nokia 6510. I waited for the best phone with all the best features but only until today found 1 that is almost complete and price competitive. Nokia seems to lose in the battle for better features phone and Sony Ericsson late entry into the best design phone is overtaking Nokia in many aspect. With Sony's technology advantage, the phone can pack so many thing in such a small phone moreover with such user friendly 2.0Megapixels camera, in which I don't have to carry extra camera around anymore. (which is the highest in the market as of today and is good enough for many occasion) The sound of MP3 player is quite clear and play MP3 & Midi format and the phone too came with Radio. It does come with GPRS and WAP which is quite enough for the next 3 years of investment because with the latest 3G phone that I source around, I was advice by the dealers of going into it as the local 3G coverage is still very limited (only available in KL), and the 3G phone still very expensive & limited choice. Surfing net with phone still consider very primitive, which I advice go for laptop if you need one. MMS & SMS are also available. The graphic is very nice & very fast. It takes split seconds only when browse to change from 1 page to another and the scroller stick in the middle comes very handy. Overall 1 give this phone 8 marks out of 10. Few marks deducted was that I sometime accidentally turn on the camera in my pocket (which can drain the battery life) since it is come with fast slider like normal camera. And that's my comment. Goodluck and have fun with the lastest Gadget in town.

I'm so confused, Nokia N90 came out very expensive same as SE W800i, Nokia 6680 is buggy and looks stupid which makes me choose between SE K750i and Nokia 6630, what do u suggest?!!
i'm so into fun stuff, Applications, Games, Themes & Music . . . etc

That uis not how i checked my firmware. *, right, *, left twice fast, *, left once, *. The left and right are the joystick. After u get this u will get options to check cnifigurations and settings. If u have any more problems ask.

Just got this phone today and there is just one word to describe it.....WOW!!! This has to be the best phone on the market, definately for people who love a phone packed with the latest phone, so if you havent got it yet, go and get it NOW!!!!

Received an email today from someone inquiring about updates and so.
This was how I did mine...
First, installed the two drivers listed: 'Sony Ericsson USB Drivers' and 'Sony Ericsson D750/K750/W800 Update Service'.
Then, downloaded the PC Suite (or the updated version of PC Suite currently 1.7.7) from the link below:

Oh yes, followed the instructions carefully after the PC Suite download! Very important indeed and works too.
By the way, I chose to update from Singapore's website (even though I don't live there) cause they are quite safe. Course, anyone is free to opt a different website (UK, Australia, China, etc), but they are all going to be the same.
